Sorry that last chapter was so short. I promise this one will be longer. How do u like it so far? I am going to finish this book I promise. I already have half of it figured out. I won't be lazy for this book. Bye 4 now! 😄
Laura's POV
Once Mrs. Smith left, Rydel showed me to my new room. I almost died. There were sparkles everywhere and the room was a bright pink. What the heck!?!?! It was way too girly for me. The closet was filled with stupid stuff like heels and skirts and the walls were covered with One Direction posters. Rydel smiled and said, "Do you like it? I did it myself!" Uhhhhh yeah not really I wanted to say, but that would probably make her mad or cry or something like that. I answered by saying, "Uh yeah! Totally!" I lied, "I just want to take down one thing." I took down the Posters. One Direction is good and everything, but it's creepy to have them staring at me all night and day. I looked above my bed and saw a sign. It said "Be Someone's Hero" Are you kidding me!? How am I supposed to sleep with THAT above my head?!?!? Rydel left so I could spend some time alone, so I sat there and thought. Why? Why me? Why am I here? Wait, I know the answer to that one, but I wish I didn't..
Ross POV
I walked into my room and thought. What's with Laura? Rydel came downstairs upset saying that Laura didn't like the room she made. That's rude. I mean she's my sister no one hurts her feelings. I decided to talk to Laura. I heard sobs coming from her room when I approached it. I knocked and quietly said, "Can I come in." A teary Laura opened the door and ran back in. I walked in and sat next to her. "I'm sorry! You probably think I'm a weak sucker for crying!" I was shocked. "No I don't think that! In fact you look like a strong girl!" I said. She laughed quietly and said, "But I just cried!" "So?" I asked. "My mom said crying is for suckers, and suckers can't live in Vegas." she said. "That's not true." I said. She then shot up and yelled, "HOW DO YOU KNOW?! YOU DONT KNOW WHAT'S ITS LIKE TO GO THROUGH WHAT I DID! GO AWAY! I WANT NOTHING TO DO WITH YOU LYNCH!" I was shocked. She cover her mouth. "Oh my" she said before zooming out of the house leaving me there frozen. What just happened?
