Chapter five - Carter

6:37pm - Wednesday - My house
"So would you like to explain why you skipped school?!"
That's my mother, she doesn't really care about my even though she is making a big fuss about this.
"No I really wouldn't" I reply with no hint of annoyance.
"Seriously Luna you are getting on my last nerve!" She yells, making sure I know how angry she is.
"Me and someone were hanging out" I reply in a duh tone. She immediately calms down.
"So you are making friends now?" She asks, she always wanted me to make friends, but I've only ever had one friend.
"No, it wasn't a friend, just someone I know." With that I walked to my bedroom and shut the door. After I locked the door I flopped down on my bed face first. My muffled screams filled the silence. I flipped myself over, and stared the white ceiling.
"Why me" I let the words fly off my tongue and echo around the room.
"Why did it happen to me"
"Why is this happening to me"
"Why can't I just disappear like everyone else"
I was pulled from my terrible state of mind from a text message.
Unknown - hey there cupcake
Me - how did you get my number
Unknown - you should really put a lock on your phone you know
Me - I don't even know you
Unknown - but I wanna know you, if you know what I mean ;)
Me - you're disgusting
Unknown - haha my name is Carter
Me - cool
Unknown - I am guessing you're not gonna tell me your name
Unknown - cupcake?
Unknown - night then, see you at school~
Oh hell no, I have to go to school with this douche. This is going to be a nightmare.

6:32am - Thursday morning
I climbed out of bed, making it as soon as I'm up. I run a brush through my hair, brush my teeth, and throw on a simple outfit. I head downstairs.
I grab my keys and my bag, and I'm gone. I drive to school, I park in the same area, far back. I stop my engine and get out making sure to lock the car. Before I can even take a step away from my car, I'm bombarded by none other than, you guessed it, Carter.
"Hey there cupcake" he swings an arm across my shoulders.
"What do you want" I ask emotionless.
"I want you and only you" he whispers into my ear, and I return that by putting my hand on his face and pushing him aside. I continue to walk to the school.
"Come on, you're not fun" he chuckles as he tries to get my attention. I still ignore him as I walk into the school. I stop by my locker with Carter still following me.
"Carter, just go away" I say to him earning a whine in return.
"But I don't wanna" he whines like a 5 year old.
Just then someone else comes up behind me.
"Carter, leave her alone" they semi growl. That's definitely Kai. What have I got myself into. I turn my body to look at Kai.
"Kai, what are you doing?" I ask in a what the hell tone.
"I'm getting Carter to leave you alone, what does it look like I'm doing" he glares at his brother.
"I don't need to to do anything for me, just go" I sign in frustration. He goes to open his mouth but I put my hand over his.
"Just go" I repeat in a stern manner. Her turns around, not before giving his brother a death glare, and walks down the hall. I turn around to see a smirking Carter.
"And I thought you didn't have it in you" he gives a light laugh. With that I slap him hard in the face.
"Don't you dare underestimate me, and don't come into my life and ruin everything I have going" I look into his dark eyes as I say this.
"Seems to me like you don't have much going anyways" his eyes seem to be full of hatred and emptiness. Much like mine. I lean up to his ear on my tippy toes, and I whisper.
"Yeah but if I did you wouldn't be a part of it" with that I turn on my heal and walked away.

4:48pm - Thursday - my house
I lay in my bed, starring at the ceiling. That is until my phone goes off again.
Carter - hey cupcake
Me - what do you want
Carter - I'm bored, come over
Me - I can't
Carter - why not
Me - I'm busy
Carter - I could come over there
Me - good luck getting my address.
Carter - common, I just wanna chill
Me - what kinda chill are we talking about
Carter - come over and find out ;)
Me - be over in 10
With that last text I threw on my vans, grabbed my keys and left the house. I started my Jeep and pulled out of my driveway. Taking a few turns I'm at their house in about 12 minutes.
I pull up into their driveway and hesitated to stop the car. As I did anyways, I opened the car door and got out. I walked in to the door and knocked.
Only a few seconds later the door was swung open and a very handsome Carter stood there, I watched his eyes trail from my feet, up my legs, over my stomach and chest, and finally meet my gaze.
"You done checking me out?" I say as a grin finds it way over my face and as it finds it way there it finds it way off too.
"Yeah just about" he grins a devilish grin.
"You gonna let me in or make me stand here forever"
"I wouldn't mind the view if you stayed here."
"Whatever" I took a step in and pushed pass Carter.
"Which room is yours?" I ask casually
"Don't be too quick to get into my bed there" he chuckles.
"Your nasty, I'm bored and you're the only think that's there to occupy me" I glance at him as I head up the stairs to where the bedrooms are.
Let's get this party started.
