Harsh lights pressed against Rachels eye. She awoke to the glare her eye instantly crumpled in response. Trying to turn away, she found her body was locked in place by what seemed to be handcuffs as she laid totally defenceless on a bed. The room was white, the walls, ceiling, lights and the furniture. She pulled her head up attempting to see her surroundings but her neck ached considerably and she was forced to put it back down. Rachel sighed and turned her head to the right seeing only a bare instrument trolley with her clothes neatly folded in the corner. Her eyepatch was laid on top of her dress which confused her slightly as to why they would have taken it off in the first place. Ever since the glass eye shattered in her skull and she gave up on having an eye – glass or robotic – Rachel kept the eyepatch on all day; Or, all night if she had "company". But, this was not the time to be worried about appearances. She laid there in silence for a few moments as she gathered her thoughts and let her remaining eye adjust to the lighting that was beaming down on her from above.

Suddenly, men and women dressed in scrubs barged into the room and began to sanitise their hands, scurrying round, paying no attention to Rachel as she panicked. She tried to speak but her voice escaped as wisps of air. They crowded around her and started to restrain her limbs further as she began to squirm even more under the locks. Then, another man came into the room with a full trolley of needles, bandages, serum bags and more. Some started to place select equipment on the bare trolley whereas others focused primarily on measuring her limbs and noting down the result on a clipboard in a rhythmic routine as if they had done this many times before. The light above her became brighter and was focused over her face, as they lifted the bed slightly. Wriggling in her hospital gown Rachel tried to speak over and over again but was consistently met with failure. The doctors that surrounded her ignored her silent pleas and were more concerned with examining her fragile body. Suddenly, a sharp pain shot through her arm as her skin was pierced with a needle, the contents being pushed into her blood stream - spreading from the point of insertion. She felt it contaminating her blood and she began to feel weak; her vision becoming hazy and the lights sliding across the room as she tried to focus. She quickly stopped struggling and fell back onto the bed, her head lulling from side to side as the control she had over herself withdrew. Her mouth moved as though she was still trying to talk but it was only small twitches. Her breathing became heavy and slow as the serum took effect as it was repressing her fight. Rachel's body felt completely limp and her eyesight was incredibly blurry as she slowly lost grip on her consciousness.

Sarah was laying on the floor and rolled over onto her side, staring at the papers that were scattered all over the floor. "Right. Scott has gone through the CCTV system and found the license plate...But, it isn't linked to any vehicle registered in Canada, or any vehicle passing into Canada." She started, picking herself up from the floor and onto her knees. Felix stared down at the papers with concern, his hand seemed stuck to his face as he analysed the paper before him. They had been collectively trying to track the van that snatched Rachel but they had got lost at the fork road which irritated them as this was their first defeat and they couldn't seem to work around it. Delphine suggested retracing their footsteps to find any alternative routes that the men could've taken, and Hellwizard suggested setting up another decoy only this time have more backup to ensure another clone isn't taken. Helena on the other hand – still skeptical with Rachel – suggested just leaving Rachel there, as she chewed on her eggshells drenched in mayonnaise. Sarah rolled her eyes in response and gathered a few of the papers in her hand, staring down at the rough sketches of the map of Toronto and possible directions. Before she could comment on Delphine and Hellwizard's ideas, Cosima came strolling in with a tray of beverages.

"Any ideas?" Cosima hummed as she placed the tray down on the glass coffee table. Sarah lunged forward and snatched the tea before Felix and sat back down.
