The clock ticking seconds past 8:00 . what the actually hell I set my clock for 7:00 ... Shit day light savings! I think to my self as I strip out of my pyjamas and jump in the shower to finally be met with something good. Hot water . I think to myself as I shampoo my hair and let the strawberry vanilla scent sink into my hair and skin . but as pleasant as it was I had to get out due to timing . I quickly and violently dried my hair to get it as dry as possible then put my outfit on which consisted of a black cotton button up and a gray dickies pencil skirt that was just a little to tight around the knees but ,I need to look nice and not desperate.

Giving myself a once over I put on some lip gloss to add some shine to my lips, and decided to go natural .

As I run down the stairs I hear a funny thump coming from a room back upstairs but disregard it as I'm already running late . I make my way to my silver KIA, unlock the door and get in . I toss my bag in the back seat and start driving just to be hit with a red light I grab my phone and ask bixby to open google maps . Once my destination was found the light turned green, I sped down Brokers ave so I wouldn't have to catch another light and soon enough I'm on the highway heading to upper east side New York .I connect my phone to my car speaker to play some music as I pass a sign saying ."Leaving Vermont " in fancy lettering.
Then I get lost in my music
