Chapter 16: Galuna Island's Final Showdown

"You wouldn't! You're not brave enough to give your life!"

Gray's face was cracked, "Just watch me."

"Don't do it!" the dragon slayer begged.

"Gray! Don't you dare!" (M/N) yelled.

"Natsu, Erza, all my friends in Fairy Tail. Especially (M/N). The rest is up to you. I don't want to leave you. But my time is up."

"Iced She-"

"Shut up!" the pink haired boy punched him.

Lyon slightly gasped.

"Natsu!"

"You can't just bust in and steal the scene with fancy talk! Get to the back of the line, pal!"

"Back of what line?"

"We were here first, so it's our fight."

"Are you really fighting over this?" the lucky wizard sweat dropped.

"What?! When I got here, the first words out of my mouth were, 'Leave him to me'!"

"Yeah?! And I said, 'No way man' in like a second after that!"

"Why you?!"

"What? You want some?"

Gray grabbed his scarf, "I don't care who said what! I've got a score to settle with him! You understand?! And I'm ready to die if that's what I gotta do!"

The pink haired boy grabbed his wrist, "Yeah? And how's dying gonna settle it? Huh? Cause it sounds like you're running away to me."

The ice wizard's eyes widened. Then they were both bashed on the head.

"Will you both just shut the hell up?"

They rubbed their heads, "Sorry sir."

The white haired man shivered. Then the whole temple shook.

"What now?!"

The armored woman made quick work of the oddly dressed people. The blonde whipped them. The cat threw sea food at them.

"Enough! We must strike down all who oppose the Cold Emperor!"

The man with the mask snickered before the temple debris glowed and levitated up.

"What's that sound?"

Lucy turned to the temple and gasped.

"No way!"

"Whoa! The temple just untilted itself!"

Natsu pounded the ground to try and make it tilt again before (M/N) stomped his head into the icy floor.

"This is bad. Now the moon's gonna shine on Deliora."

"Pardon the interruption," the masked man ran up to the ice wizard.

"I should've known. I take it you did this?"

"Indeed I did sir. The moon will be out soon. So I thought I'd take the liberty of straightening the temple for you."

"That weirdo fixed it all by itself?"

"And after all that trouble for us to mess it up too."

"Hey! So what'd you do to fix it, huh?"
