"Holy fuck." You break the silence. "Yeah." Richie says back as you guys gather around Eddie. "O-ok, this might hurt E-Eddie." Bill steadies his hands on Eddie's clearly broken and dislocated arm. Eddie tries to squirm back but he's being propped up against a wall, "Do not touch me! Do not fucking touch me!" Eddie's shrieks are useless as Bill quickly pushes his arm and Eddie lets out a scream. "Oh my god!" You stand up and walk to the doorway where Stan, Mike, and Ben are clumped. "Come on guys, make room here." You get them to move from the doorway so that Richie and Bill can help a complaining Eddie out the door. You see your bike lying on the ground with the others. "How'd this get here?" You point to your bike. Beverly raises her hand, "I rode it here, hope you don't mind." You shake your head, "no that's fine, can I ride on your bike Bill? Or maybe Bev can ride with you?" Beverly steps over to Silver, "I'll ride with Bill, that's cool with me...." she says a little too fast and you can't help but smile. "Alright that's cool then, I kinda wanted to go out to the park to think for a while anyways." Bill looks at you incredulously, "a-a-after that? N-no w-way y/n, you can't go out on your own!" You roll your eyes, "IT's not going to come and take me while all those people are watching." "I could go with her, to make sure she doesn't get hurt?" Richie offers, and you let out an annoyed huff of breath. "I'm fine, you insist, "I don't need a babysitter!" "At least not y-you Richie." Bill glares at Richie. "Me?! I didn't do anything wrong!" Bill looks at him exasperated, "o-oh s-s-so y-you had n-nu-nothing to do with that staged kiss?" Richie turns red. "I don't want to die Bill, I'm not doing this anymore!" You furrow your brow. "You knew?" You ask, "why didn't you tell me?" Bill looks at you with pleading eyes, "I th-thought if I went e-early I could c-convince h-him it was a b-bad idea and he wouldn't end up embarrassing himself." You feel betrayed, "so not only did you know, but you knew before you left?! You hiss, getting on your bike, "so much for honesty." You pedal as fast as possible, swerving around corners at top speeds. You ignore the ache in your shoulder, letting hurt of this set-up guide your actions. You are just about to take a quick left hand turn when your bike gives out, and you land painfully on your left, and injured, shoulder. You scream in agony and wiggle out from under your bike, attempting to stand up. "Oh god y/n are you ok?!" Richie exclaims and you grit your teeth in frustration. He must have been following you the entire way and you were to caught up in your own anger to notice. "I'm... fine." You manage, "you can leave now." He comes over anyways and helps you stumble to your feet. You turn to face him, "thanks, I'm going now." He reaches a hand out towards your good shoulder, "wait, are you mad? I never wanted to make you mad..." he trails off as you spin on your toes and face him, your face a storm of emotions. "Go. Away. I'm not mad, I'm just hurt." You spit at him, quoting what he told you before. You walk over to your bike and pick it up, but you know you can't ride it, so you just walk it. You don't hear him following you, so you let the tears go, it's just too much for one day. Too, fucking, much. You stop and look at your surroundings to find yourself standing in the middle of the creek, facing the Standpipe. You let out a scream and kick the rocks in the tiny river. You look back up and see IT inside the Standpipe. He's crouching over something. Something that eerily resembles a body... IT is chewing on the nearly broken arm of a black haired blank faced boy with glasses askew on his face. More tears stream down you face as you try to scream but can't. You run up the hill, scrambling on hands and knees all the way up, your shoulder aching the whole time. You pause and look back at the top. You see IT beginning to eat the face, but only just. You can still identify that it.. is not Richie?! You blink and look again, and you recognize it as Patrick Hocksetter. 'But where did Richie go?' You panic, but when IT raises IT's hypnotic eyes to meet yours, you flee. Back towards town, you wish you had remembered your bike, but it would've only slowed you down trying to climb the hill. You run, seemingly nowhere, but you have an idea. If Richie is alive, he is probably upset about what you said. And when Richie is upset, he goes to the Arcade. So you run, tears drying on your face, left shoulder on fire, and small scratches all over your arms and legs. When you reach the Arcade you search for Richie's bike, but don't see it. You look again, more frantically, and then you see him. Walking out of the alleyway, hands in pockets, frowning. You breath a sigh of relief. "Ri-" you stop yourself, there's really no reason you need to let him know you were even looking for him in the first place. It was just an illusion, doesn't mean you're suddenly on good terms with him. But he heard it, and his head snaps up to look at you, eyes lighting up as he takes his hands from his pockets and looks at you. Then he begins walking over.

Alright I felt bad about the long wait for the last update so I did another one! Hope you are all enjoying! But unfortunately all stories must end eventually, and this one will probably only get one more chapter.☹️But then I'm moving onto a new story! If you have any requests/ suggestions I could really use them!! Also don't forget to check out greeneyedbookbandit , she has absolutely some of the best short stories ever! They are really relatable, because she can capture a single emotion in at least 1000 words. And if there's an emotion you want, ask her for it and she will definitely write it!
