Angel a small girl, skipped around her mother in excitement as her long blonde hair flopped onto her back. Her mother looked down at Angel, grabbing a hold of her arm as she tried to calm her child down.

"I'm sorry Momma. I'm just a bit excited to see daddy." Angel apologized.

Angelique dipped her head, since she too was a bit excited to see Barnabas. Barnabas had never met Angel nor has Angelique even mentioned their daughter to him.

"I just hope he don't reject you or me. We've come all this way to see your father, but things might have changed." Replied Angelique.

They continued to walk, their minds hoping that Barnabas would be loving to them, well at least to Angel. Angelique made her way up to the front door to the old house with her child right on her heals.

"Now be on your best behavior or I'll make sure you don't talk to your father for a while." Angelique said, almost in a threat.

Angeliaue knocked on the door and waited a few moments for the door to open. Barnabas had answered the door, starring at Angelique then at Angel. Angel knew who this man was, it was her father. The little girl excitedly ran to her father.

"Daddy!" Screamed Angel, running at Barnabas and jumping into his arms.

Barnabas starred at Angelique then at Angel, who dangled in his hands. He kept the child well away from him as if she was some kind of disease. Barnabas placed her on the floor, walking away without saying another word.

"Barnabas." Whispered Angelique.

Barnabas ignored her and kept right on walking. Angel ran after her father as he walked ip the stairs. Angelique watched, almost about to follow when Joshua stopped her.

A few moments later
Barnabas sat in a chair in his room with his hand on his chin as Angel walked into the room. He looked up, getting up out of the chair.

"What do you want kid?" Barnabas asked.

Angel walked up to her father, hugging onto his legs.

"Daddy!" She cried.

Barnabas picked her up properly, examining Angel's looks. He starred into her greenish brown eyes eith a slight smile. He held her head close to his chest, hugging her with a sniff of his nose in a beginning of a tear.

"What's your name?" He wondered, wiping the tears off his face.

Angel kept her head on her father's chest, a small little girl giggle escaped her throat.

"My name's Angel. Angel Collins." Replied Angel with her giggle.

Barnabas sat on his bed, Angel still in his arms. April pushed her father over, falling beside him. The little girl wiggled closer to her father, lying her head on Barnabas's stomache. Barnabas wrapped his arm around April, feeling his daughter fall asleep beside him.

"Hopefully her mother doesn't look for her and get upset. I don't to tell her  too soon, especially since I just found out my daughter." He whispeted to himself to where he wouldn't wake up  Angel.

Barnabas ignored himself, his eyes closing slowly. He soon fell asleep to the warmth of his child.
