Angelique laid her head on Angel's pillow as her child curled up beside her. Barnabas laid beside Angel, well away from Angelique to make sure he didn't touch her. He wrapped his arm around his daughter, keeping her close to him as much as she was close to Angelique.
"I always imagined what it would be like to be with Angel and the both of us together, but ever since you said you didn't love me I knew it wasn't possible." Whispered Angelique, placing her head on Barnabas's shoulder.
Her hand grazed the top of Barnabas as she starred at him with love filling her eyes. Barnabas couldn't find the urge to pull his hand away, but knew that what he was doing was wrong.
"Josette should be in a couple of hours and after that I can't see you again like this." Replied Barnabas.
Angelique hadn't heard, since she had drifted off into sleep. Angel began to move, placing the first half of her body onto her father's stomache. Barnabas placed his hand on top of Angel's back, resting it.
An hour later
Angelique and Angel made their ways into the house to go meet Joseete. Angel looked around the corner, seeing Josette in the drawing room. The small child ran in with an excited squeal.
"Auntie Mademoiselle Josette!" Screamed Angel, running towards Josette.
She jumped into Josette's arms, allowing her to pick her up. Josette kissed Angel on the head as the little girl wrapped her arms around the women's arms. Angelique ran into the room and over to Josette, giving her mistress a hug. She took Angel out of Josette's arms as Barnabas walked into the room.
An hour later
Barnabas held his throat as he felt pain strike through his neck as if he was choking. Angel ran into the room, seeing her father, lying on the floor. The child ruahed over to him, falling to her knees.
"Daddy! Get up daddy!" Screamed Angel, tears falling from her eyes.
Josette walked onto the room overhearing the young child call Barnabas daddy.
"Daddy?" Whispered Josette.
