Angel held onto Sarah's hand as they made their way into the play room as they giggled. Sarah's mother Naomi sat in a chair, watching as the two girls as they walked inside.

"Sarah who's this?" Wondered Naomi with curosity, but not anger.

Sarah was just about to say something when Angel moved over to Sarah's mother.

"I'm Angel, Angelique's daughter mademoiselle." Replied Angel, taking the bottom of her dress in both of her hands, bowing to Naomi.

Naomi stood up, feeling a bit of respect for the child. Sarah let out a smile, seeing the respect in her mother's eyes.

"How old are you darling?" Naomi asked with a friendly smile.

Angel looked up at Naomi, letting out a smile as well.

"I'm two years old mademoiselle." Answered Angel in respect.

Naomi dipped her head.

"Very well. You guys can hang out in here if you'd like." Said Naomi, walking out of the room.

An hour later
Angel made her way around the old house as she lost her way to where her mother slept. Barnabas walked out in front of Angel with a smile. His daughter ran over to her father,  allowing him to pick her up. Barnabas placed his child on his hip, making his way up the stairs.

"Do you forgive me of what I said earlier?" Asked Barnabas after kissing Angel softly on the cheek.

Angel nodded a bit, laying her head on his shoulder. The little girl felt her eyes begin to close. Barnabas watched as his daughter began to grow sleepy.

"Do you want me to take you to your mother or do you want to stay with me for tonight?" Wondered Barnabas.

Angel opened her eyes a bit.

"I want to stay with you tonight daddy." Replied Angel in a whisper and a small yawn.

Barnabas felt her head lie back on his shoulder, making him continue walking to his room. The time he got there Angel was asleep with her cheek rested on her father's shoulder. Barnabas let out a smile as he tried to hold in a awe at his child.

"Goodnight sweetheart. I'll see you in the morning." Whispered Barnabas, kissing her head.

Barnabas laid in his bed with Angel, wrapping his arm around his daughter as she moved closer to him. He stayed awake a little bit to read a book before he blew out the candle and fell asleep.
