Angel sat on the bed beside her sleeping mother. Angelique had been sleeping all day after she had a fainting spell earlier thid morning. There was a knock on the door.

"Come in." Whispered Angel.

Barnabas walked inside, moving over to Angel. He looked over at Angrlique, making his way over to her. In his hand was a wet cloth. He placed it on Angelique's forehead, giving her a kiss on the top of her head.

"Let's leave Mommy to sleep." Whispered Barnabas, picking up Angel.

Barnabas placed his daughter on hos hip, walking outside. He closed the door slowly and quietly in trying not disturb her. Angelique let out a cry of pain from inside the bedroom. Barnabas quickly ran inside, touching Angelique's forehead, but it seemed to be cool.

Angel starred at her mother in horror as she stayed in Barnabas's arms. Barnabas sat Angel down on the bed and laid down beside Angelique. He pressed his belly to Angelique's swollen one.

"Shhh. Everything will be fine. Im here for you." Whispered Barnabas.

Angelique pressed her face close to Barnabas's, letting out a cold shiver. Barnabas gave Angelique a kiss, while Angelique wrapped her arms around his neck. Barnabas moved his face away from hers with a smile.

"I love you Angelique and I will always love you. Josette means nothing to me anymore." whispered Barnabas

Angelique shook her head violently.

"You love Josette not me. I'll just get in the way of your happines." Whispered Angelique.

Barnabas gently pressed his hand on her swollen stomache. Angelique shifted a bit as she became uncomfortable.

"Those kids need their father. And you need me." Replied Barnabas.

Angelique pressed her body to his, putting her head in his chest for comfort.

"I do love you Barnabas. I do love you." Cried Angelique.
