"TeeTee Lia, I want some nuggets." My neice Keyarii said is I buckled her into her car seat.

"Your daddy is going to take you to get something to eat baby. Im going to drop you off because I have somewhere to be."

"Okay." She pouted

"You better get this baby some nuggets. You are a horrible Auntie." Morgan said from the front seat.

Over the week, I've gotten to met plenty of other people from the school. Me and Morgan were actually friends at James Madison and we both happened to switch schools. So she'll fill in for DaKoda, but never replace.

"Girl, I am the best auntie ever and you the one hollering about the party but want me driving all over town." I side eyed her while pulling out of the parking lot.

It didn't take long for me to pull up to King's house. When I did, I recognized the car that was in the front. Noticing it was Laia's car, Keyarii started to dance in her seat.

"Mommy, mommy, mommy's here!" She exclaimed.

I parked the car and got out to open her door. I used my key to open the door and I let her walk in first. Once she ran to her mother, I happily left and let them have their moment.

Me and Laia aren't the best of friends, but she can be cool at times. She usually only comes to see the kids, but I feel like its because of the way i've handled her in the past.

Two years ago she dropped Keyarii by the house and never came back to get her.

At the time, Keyarii was three years old and the only person that was there with her was her 5 year old brother, at the time, Harley and Khai who was sleep.

Harley and Keyarii dont have the same mother and Laia didn't exactly know about him.

When she found out that King already had a son, she flipped and just left town without Keyarii. When I caught wind of the situation I handled her and made sure that she would be in Keyarii's life.

I knew how it felt to not have a mother in your life and I did not want Keyarii to grow up like that and become like me.

Many people tell me that I'm overreacting, but I really felt my mother was not ever a mother.

She pretty much dumped all of her responsibilities on me. I was 8 years old taking care of a 9 year old, another 8 year old, and a 5 year old. My childhood sucked, but I refuse to let any child around me go through what I went through.

I traveled back to the car and drove over my house. This time Morgan got out because she wanted to meet Kennedi, but she wasn't even at home. She was going to be joining us at the party, but we were riding separately.

We walked into the house and I went straight to my room. I grabbed what I was wearing tonight and left. I was not about to say anything to my birthgiver because she was going to make assumptions that I was going out with some niggas, and I wasn't going to let her ruin my mood.

We got back in the car and drove over to Morgan's house to get ready.

"Hurry up and shower and shit because I still got to do your makeup and you know you take forever in the shower." Morgan said rolling her neck.

"I do not take that long. But okay." I held my hands up in surrender.

I went into the bathroom across the hall from her room and started the water making sure that it would warm up to my liking. While waiting, I checked my phone and seen that Bash had been blowing up my phone.
