Naging normal ang takbo ng mg Gawain nila sa orphanage. Isinantabi ni Gab ang kanyang mga alalahanin. Pero napansin niyang nagging mas maingat si Troy saknya. Palagi niyang tinatanung kung okay lang ba na gawin nito ang isang bagay.
Sobrang saya ni Gab dahil nag enjoy ang mga bata at pati ang mga kaibigan niya.
Pero nang natapos ang araw na pagbisita nila. Dumeretcho sa condo ni Gab ang mag kakaibigan at nagdinnner.
Lumabas si Gab sa veranda at sumunod si Paul. Tsaka sinara ang sliding door.
"Gab." Paul
"Yes kuya?"
"Thank you for that experience. Alam mo I thought...All those years kilala n kita. Pero there is more to you pala than these... I know from the start that you are a good person with a very big heart. Pero ibang level yung kanina. You opened my eyes to a new side of this world. Thank you for that kiddo. Any plans for tomorrow?" Paul said at tinap ang ulo ni Gab.
Hindi na nakasagot si Gab dahil may biglang nagsalita sa likod nila.
"Stop touching her." Pabirong pag babanta ni Troy.
"Hoy! magpasalamat ka sakin at pinakilala ko kayong mga unggoy sa mga kaibigan ko." pag mamayabang ni Paul.
"hahaha! playboy he called you a monkey. Ui si Geoff di nasaktan kasi totoo." banat namn ni Gab.
Nagsitawanan ang magkakaibigan and they call it a night. Nagsiuwan na ang lahat maliban kay Troy.
Tahimik na nagligpit si Gabriel sa kusina at pinapanuod lang siya ni Troy.
"Matunaw ako niyan. Sige ka." Biro ni Gab.
Umupo sila sa veranda habang nakatanaw sa mga ilaw ng suidad.
" Why didn't you tell me about that.." Troy asked.
Unti unting bumabalik ang galit ni Troy. Kahit papaano niya pigilan, he cannot contain the anger that he is feeling right now after the bomb that Gab dropped.
"I don't know how...." Nanginginig ang boses ni Gab.
Napansin ni Troy ang pag pipigil ng iyak ni Gab. Niyakap niya ang kasintahan. at iniharap sakanya.
"You should have told me.. so that i'll take care of you more. Be careful towards you more. Weirdo...Love... you know that i really, really love you. This...that we have right now. I don't want to mess it up in any way,type or form." frustration is written all over Troy's face and voice.
Gab touches his face. And with that Troy's face softens.
"i don't know how to tell you. Walang may ibang alam nung nangyaring yun sakin kundi ang pamilya ko lang. Everything was kept as a secret even from the press. My parents paid a lot of people a lot of money so that they would shut up and for me not to relive that thing ever again..."
"I don't want you to relive that but... I just want you to tell me this kind of things. Mamaya may magawa ako then maalala mo yun. Then you'll shut me off.. I don't want that to happen. I don't want to loose you. I can't afford to loose you. " Troy
walang salita ang nais lumabas sa bibig ni Gab. Naiintindihan niya si Troy and she is grateful on how Troy thinks.. Di na siya ganun kaaffected sa nangyari. Pero di padin niya maiwasang maiyak pag naalala niya yung mga nangyari sknya.
"Did they get caught? The people that did that to you?" Troy
"Yeah. After a few days when they found me. There was a drug den near that area and an informant confirmed that they always go there to do drugs." Gab
"Good. Coz if not i'll kill them myself." Seryosong pahayag ni Troy.
Nagulat si Gab sa binitawang salita ni Troy. Nakasulat ang matinding galit sa mukha ng kasintahan.
"Love are you angry? I'm really sorry for not telling you this, I am not really planning to tell anyone about this anymore because i don't want to go back to tha--..." the tear that she is trying to hold back came down pouring.
Nawala ang galit ni Troy ng maramdaman ang mahal niyang humahagulgol sa kanyang tabi.
"SHhhhhh.. stop crying my love... I'm not angry at you. I'm hella mad at the bastards that dared to even touch the ends of your hair."
Gab buried her self in Troy's arms.
Troy locked her in his arms and didn't let go until she stopped crying.
They sat in silence. Until Troy broke it.
"This will be the last time that we will talk about this. Di ko kayang nakikita kang umiiyak at nasasaktan." Troy
Tango nalang ang nasagot ni Gab. Kumawala ito sa yakap ng kasintahan at nag punas ng luha.
Hinawakan ni Troy ang mga kamay ni Gab at siya ang nag punas ng bawat butil ng luha sa mukha ng dalaga.
"Don't ever cry like that ever again without me beside you. I am the only one who can touch you, and wipe your tears. No one else. Because your mine and mine alone."
He did not wait for her response. He then cupped her face and kissed her passionately and deeply.
