"I don't care." Antony said grabbing a banana.
"You don't?" I was confused.
"Nope." He said popping the 'P'.
"But."
"Emma listen." He looked me in the eyes. "Your boyfriend should be the one you tell and you're not my girlfriend so why should I care?"
Well that stung.
"You're right." I said only below a whisper.
"I have to go. Tell your new boyfriend I said hi." I can taste the saltiness.
"I uh." He walks away before i could say anything.
"Hello beautiful." I turn around. It's Geo.
"Don't." I put my hand up and walk away. Not today Geo."How was your day?" Ethan asked over our phone call. He took the time to ca during lunch. How sweet.
"It could be better." I take a bite of my pizza.
"Tell me about it."
So I rant. Not telling him completely everything just the fact that Antony and I have conflict right now.
"Is that really a bad thing?" Ethan asked with a bit of a 'duh' tone.
"Well yeah. He's my friend."
"He doesn't have to be." Ethan stated.
"But he is." Now Ethan wants to have conflict? "I have to go. Lunch ended."
"But it just started." He's right.
"I have to do things. Bye." I hung up after he said a salty bye. What's everyones' problem today?Me. I'm the problem.
Geo approaches me and sits across from my lonely table where Antony and I usually sit.
He's the problem.
"Can you leave me alone."
And he did nothing close to that.
