In the Enchanted Forest
After flying through the portal I arrived in the Enchanted Forest. I quickly folded my wings back into my back before anybody could notice them. Taking a quick survey of my surroundings I noticed that I was in a forest. I thought to myself, Duh of course I am in a forest. I did travel to the Enchanted Forest after all. Geez I could be such an idiot sometimes. Having nothing better to do I decided to wander around and see what I came across. It had been a while since I had been in the Enchanted Forest I wondered what had changed.
After a few minutes of wandering I saw a poster pinned to a tree. The poster announced that Prince Charming and Snow White were getting married today at their castle. I decided to go to the wedding to see if Prince Charming and Snow White were anything like they were when I had last seen them.
I was about halfway to the castle when I realized I hadn't changed into clothes more appropriate for the Enchanted Forest. I was still wearing my Beatles t shirt, blue jeans, and tennis shoes. Those clothes would certainly stick out in the Enchanted Forest. Using magic I quickly changed into a dark grey tunic with silver wings embroidered on the back , navy blue trousers, black boots, and a light grey cloak. The outfit complemented my long brown hair and my grey eyes perfectly. I knew that it was not common for a girl to wear a tunic and trousers here, but there was no way I was wearing a dress. If there was one thing I hated doing it was wearing a dress. Remembering my wings I quickly cut two slits in the tunic to allow my wings to come out if it was necessary. Satisfied with my appearance I headed off to the castle to attend the wedding.
At Snow White and Prince Charming's wedding
When I arrived at the castle I was amazed at the look of the castle. An ornate stone bridge connected the mainland to the island that the castle was on. The castle was breathtakingly beautiful with its spiraling towers, stain glass windows, and ornately carved wooden doors. I walked into the castle and headed up to the front to observe the wedding. The ceremony was fabulous. Snow White was wearing an amazing white lace dress. Prince Charming was looking handsome in his wedding attire.
The priest said, "And do you, Snow White, promise to take this man to be your husband, and love him for all eternity?"
Snow White said, "I do."
The priest replied, "I now pronounce you husband and wife."
There was a round of applause. Prince Charming leaned in to kiss Snow White when the chapel doors slammed open and the Evil Queen entered. I couldn't just sit by and let her hurt anyone, so I prepared to intercede if it appeared someone was about to be hurt.
"Sorry I'm late." the Evil Queen said.
As she walked down the aisle I saw the murderous intent in the Evil Queen's eyes. It dawned on me that she was planning to hurt the newly weds. I stepped in front of Prince Charming and Snow White and created a force field just in time to block a fireball thrown by the Evil Queen. I took off my cloak with a flourish revealing my face to the shocked crowd.
"Who are you?", the Evil Queen asked.
"You do not need to know who I am. All you need to know is that these people are under my protection. Enact your evil scheme another day. Can't you at least let them have their wedding day in peace?", I said.
"Fine", the Evil Queen said.
The Evil Queen turned to leave so I began to turn around to talk to Snow and Charming. Then out of the corner of my eye I saw the Evil Queen turn and throw a fireball at Snow. Instinctively I unfurled my wings and shielded Snow from the fireball. As I fell to the ground in pain I sent a wave of energy at the Evil Queen knocking her down. The Evil Queen got up and fled vowing her revenge. My wings were in severe pain because the queen's fireball had hit my wings instead of Snow. The pain was too much to bear so I slipped into unconsciousness
