Chapter 6

*Anna, the secretary POV*

Ah! Another day in the office!

After our two day vacation in Vegas, Ms Dion's phone hasn't stop ringing from people trying to set appointments and meetings with her!

After handling endless calls and noting them down on her schedule, I received a call from a familiar voice.

"Hello, this is Ms.Dion's secretary speaking, how may I assist you?"

"Ah! You should've already known who is on the line by now! Hahaha"

"Ahahaha, Mr.Goldman! It's nice to have finally heard from you!"

Mr Jean Jacques Goldman is an advisor to Mr.Angelil and a close friend to Ms.Dion.

"Yes! May I know wether Celine (he prefers to call her by her first name) and Rene are free this evening? I feel like dropping by to see how the company is going?"

"Hmmm, wait for a moment.............Ah! Yes, they're free this evening around 3pm to 6:30pm."

"Okay! Please inform them that I will be coming! I wouldn't want to freak Celine out like last time! Hahaha!"

"Ahaha, okay sir, I will. Goodbye"

It was lunch time so I went to Ms Dion's office.

"Ma'am, Mr.Goldman called a while ago and he wanted me to tell you that he's going to drop by this evening to see you and Mr.Angelil."

"Wow! Okay!", she said while giving a shocked yet excited look.

I know it's been quite a while since Mr.Goldman has last visited and I know he's here to try to save the company.

*Celine Dion, The Boss POV*

It's been a while since Jean last dropped by! And I know it means serious business if he comes by in such an unexpected notice.

Rene suddenly walks in my office and shuts the door.

He gave a small peck on my cheeks and I did too.

"Celine, I'm pretty sure you know that our company isn't doing well recently", he said with a serious face.

"I know darling", I said while sighing softly.

"Jean is coming by today to discuss about our company. Please inform Anna to prepare all the paperwork and anything relevant. He's our last resort in reviving our company"

"Okay mon amour, I will............"

And before I could say anything else, he had already left my office.

Ah Rene.........

I feel so sorry for you to have such a huge burden around your shoulders. I can't wait to go home and give you the biggest and warmest hug!

I went to Anna's office and asked her to prepare all the business documents for Jean.

"Sure thing ma'am! By the way, I really think you should go talk to Mr.Angelil, he said that he isn't quite feeling well these days.......", she said, and looking at her eyes I could see that she was very concerned.

"Really? He didn't mention anything except about the company to me?", I said while looking quite confused.

"Well, either ways, go talk to him. I think he really needs you now...."

"Alright, I'll talk to him later at night......"
