LOVE ME.

one.

the day was young. the air was lively, accepting the children's laughter and giggles, as if it was its own. the sun shown brightly on the children running around and playing together, making their skin seem even younger from the sun beams. the two six year-old kids on the colorful playground continued to tease and run away from each other, tiny giggles falling out of their mouths as they hid.

"taehyungie! i wanna go on the swings! swing with me!" jeongguk yelled, coming out from his hiding place.

"okay, kookie! wait for me!" taehyung stood out from his spot and ran to the boy, resembling a bunny. skipping towards the young, raven-haired child, taehyung slipped on his thickly-laced sneakers and fell on his face.

"ow!" taehyung's eyes started to pool with tears, while he tried to hold in his sobs.

"tae-tae!" the young jeongguk ran over to the crying boy and held him closely in his small arms. he pulled away and inspected the latter's knee, seeing it was scraped badly, with small dots of red pooling together.

"k-kookie! it hurts..." the said boy pulled jeonggukie closer to him, breathing in his scent, smelling like strawberries and cream.

"it's okay, taehyungie... here!" the bunny boy kissed taehyung's wet cheeks and his knee, later taking a superman bandaid from his mother and applying it to the boy's knee.

jeongguk loved his hyung a lot, he would take care of him and kiss him to make him feel better. the boys' relationship was precious, their moms letting them know they could love whoever they wanted,

as long as they loved each other and were happy.

"does it feel better now, hyung?"

"yup! t-thank you kookie, i love you so, so much!"

jeongguk's cheeks flushed a rosy color at his hyung's comment, he loves me!

"i love you too, tae-tae! now, lets go play on the swings!" jeongguk held the small, tan boy's hand and pulled him along to the swings, the boys' childish laughter filling the air with happiness.

taehyung looked at his friend, his kookie.

i love you so much, jeongguk.

poor taehyung was too young, he didn't know what was coming.
