I sat in class alone. Billy was no where to be seen. He hadn't came by to pick me up this morning, he didn't show up for physics. He just wasn't here, I started to worry. Steve could tell so he kept giving me small hugs and telling me Billy would be fine. But the minute the bell rang signalling the end of the day I pulled Steve out to his car. We drove home and a sudden rush of relief ran through my body as I seen Billy's car sitting in the drive. I checked in the car to see if he was there. But when I went to open the door it was unlocked.

"How did he get in?" Steve asked and I smiled.

"I gave him a key." I said and Steve nodded. Steve went straight to the kitchen, grabbing some food. I checked the spare room, listing room, bathroom kitchen and my parents room. After checking Steve's room I opened my door to reveal a shirtless Billy asleep in bed, his face was covered with fresh bruises and his healed lip had burst open again. He looked so peaceful. I looked around my room, 2 of Billy's bags sat in the corner. 3 box's along with it. I looked at Billy. He left, he left his home. I quietly walked towards the bed and sat down. Billy moved around and rested his head on my lap. I stroked his hair.

"You okay?" I asked and he nodded. I kissed his temple and moved his head so he was sleeping on the pillow. I quietly left the room and walked down stairs.

"Billy's going to be staying with us." I said and Steve looked at me.

"Mom and dad are coming home on Wednesday." He said and I groaned.

"Well you know what they've been good for a month and a half. They'll have to deal with it. Steve his dad beat him again last night. Bruises are all over his face. I'm not letting him go back." I said and Steve nodded.

"I know you won't Lil." He said and I smiled.

Billy stumbled down stairs around 11 the next day, dressed like he was going on our. His hair was styled perfectly, his Shut was half unbuttoned, he had the tightest put of jeans he owned on and his denim jacket finished off the look. I looked at him wide eyes.

"I'll be back later." He said kissing my cheek and leaving. I looked at Steve and he just shrugged. After a while of sitting around we remembered there was a party. We both got ready and walked a few block to the party. Billy's car hadn't moved from the drive so where ever he was he walked. The night was dark and the party was loud. The minute I walked through the door a drink was shoved in my hand. On my 7th drink I spotted Steve.

"Heyyyyyyyy." I dragged out and he just laughed.

"Someone's had one to many." He said and I giggled, not knowing which out of the 3 Steve's were real.

"Hows about we head home?" He asked and I nodded.

"Just let me go to the bathroom first." I said and he nodded. I stumbled towards the bathroom, bumping into people every now and again. I found the bathroom but I never wish I had. I threw the door open to reveal a girl pinning Billy up against the sink, their lips moving against each other's. Suddenly I could see straight, my heart dropped as Billy's eyes met mines.

"Lilly." He breathed out but I was already down stairs and in the drive, tears streaming down my face. Steve stood infront of me, cigarette hanging from his mouth.

"Lilly are you okay?" He asked and I just looked at him.

"Lilly!" Billy yelled and I spun around.

"Fuck You Billy Hargrove!" I screamed, people in the drive turning. He stumbled back as I hit his chest. "Do you understand how much I have done for you? how much I devoted to you? How much I loved you! I guess not Hargrove!" I screamed and his face was plastered with guilt and hurt. "I want you out of my house tomorrow. I want you gone from my life you son of a bitch!" I yelled and then I took a deep breathe. Tears running faster. "I hate you." I whispered. I grabbed Steve's arm and walked away. Billy didn't chase after me, he didn't even call after me. I slept in the spare room that day. In the morning I checked my room and all of Billy's things were gone. That morning I got ready for school, pulled on my shoes and climbed into Steve's car, I turned up the radio and make a cocky joke towards him. Everything I did before I get Billy Hargrove. It didn't feel right. Once we got to school I spotted Billy's car. My heart dropped as I seen him leaned up against it. I walked into school, I felt ill. I passed Billy and sat on my seat in physics. He didn't say anything, I didn't say anything, he smelled of cigarettes and Cologne, it made me sad that I didn't wake up next to that scent. When class finished I started on my way to maths, when suddenly I was pulled into a spare classroom. I turned my head to see Billy standing against it. Suddenly I was angry.

"Billy let me leave." I said and he shook his head.

"No Lilly." He said and I looked at him.

"Billy." I said my voice shaky.

"I'm sorry." He whispered.

"You're not sorry! You kissed that girl! You let that girl kiss you!" I yelled hitting his chest. "You let that girl touch you!" I screamed the tears streaming down my face once again. "I didn't everything for you Billy, I thought you loved me, I thought I was bringing back something in your life." It was my turn to break down. So there we stood, 2 broken teenagers, in an empty classroom, holding onto each other for dear life.
