"oh, h-hey Demi." I tried to act natural but failed miserably.

I don't think I will ever be able to unsee the cold glare she gave me.

"you. outside. now." and with that, she walked out, expecting me to follow, don't worry guys I did. I would be crazy to disobey now.

"the rest of you, this party is over. you all have 5 seconds to leave before I personally arrest each and every one of you." Demi said as she continued to walk out of the door.

we were finally outside by her car and she was completely silent. it was getting kind of awkward so I opened my mouth to say something but she cuts me off,

"sh, please. don't say anything. I am trying so hard to stay calm, but I am pissed." I kept my head down, afraid to look into her stone cold eyes(ha, get it? stone cold?)

"are you fucking kidding me? after I specifically told you no to coming to this party tonight, you decided to come anyways?" she didn't have to say that it was a rhetorical question because I definitely knew it was.

"get your ass in this car, we will talk more when we get home." damn she was so heated. I've never seen her like this. I'm kind of scared to find out what she's going to do to me when we get home.

the whole car ride was silent, as expected, and we finally made it home, after what felt like eternity.

Demi got out immediately, but I just stayed in the car for a moment, scared to death of going inside. after Demi realized that I wasn't following behind her, she stopped abruptly and turned around, her cold glare still there, and pointed her finger towards me first, and then to the house.

I sighed softly and reluctantly got out, starting to walk up behind her. we both walked inside and me being stupid ole me thought she would let me go upstairs to sleep, but that was not the case.

"what the hell do you think you are doing?" she yelled, emphasizing the hell as if I was crazy to try to sneak upstairs.

"can we please just talk about this tomorrow. I am so drunk right now." I slurred, which did not help me at all when it came to Demi being angry.

"it is so funny how you can ask something as stupid as that after what you did tonight. you should already know my answer." I rolled my eyes, hoping she didn't see, she did.

"oh I just know you're not giving me attitude right now considering your current situation." she stated sarcastically.

I sat on the couch and waited for her to start yelling at me.

"I am still having such a hard time believing that you actually went to that damn party, even AFTER I said no to you multiple times."

I was about to say something but she cut me off,

"and not only that, but you were the one that was in the middle of the  circle drinking!! are you out of your mind? I don't even know what to do with you right now." she said in disbelief.

without thinking, I started talking.

"you still haven't signed the papers."

she looked at me confused, "what?"

"the adoption papers. you still haven't signed them, so you can go ahead and send me back. I won't be hurt." that was a lie. I would be incredibly hurt, but I didn't want to show her that.

"how many times do I have to tell you that I am not going to send you back? I'm pissed off, yes, but nothing will ever cause me to send you back, understand?" she was still angry, but I actually trust her on this.

"right now I wish so badly that you were younger so I could whoop your ass and not get caught for child abuse."

I stayed silent, I mean what else was I supposed to do?

"alright. you're grounded for 3 months, maybe even longer, I haven't decided yet. no hanging out with friends, no TV, no cell phone, and you will be doing a ton of chores around this house cause I can always use a helper."

I debated on arguing but I was already in the dog house as it was so I thought it was just better to keep my mouth shut.

"go to sleep please. ill give you medicine in the morning to help with the massive headache you're about to have." I groaned softly and went upstairs.

laughing to myself as I got to my room, I realized that I still had my computer and phone. I got in the bed and was about to fall asleep when Demi comes bursting into my room.

"ha, you thought I forgot." she said, with her hand outstretched, signaling for me to give her my phone. I reluctantly gave it to her, and then she went over to get my laptop and then left without a second glance.

this is going to be a long 3 months.
