Chapter 5 - A love that never started (Forth)

Hello Everyone,

Thank you for the birthday wishes and sorry for late update. I feel stuck when it comes to narrating a story parallel with the real series. The time frame and situation from the series should match the second couple and it is difficult sometimes to follow when there is no specific direction in the series. But nevertheless I tried my best to make it match. I hope that you will all enjoy the read.

Forth's POV

Courting someone while your heart and mind are focused on only one person is so difficult. I could feel the sweat drenching my skin and clothes, the throbbing of my own eyes while scanning the surrounding, the ringing of my inner-screams starting to vibrate in my ears, and the violent thumping of my heart against my chest together with my heavy steps as I walked towards the practice hall. Am I doing the right thing? Courting that junior wouldn't help me get over Beam. He sure is cute but I can't get Beam out my system: like he already formed part of each of my cells.

Can you hear it?...

~stomp~.....~stomp~.....

My heart bouncing off the ground like a basketball ball as I forcefully dragged the other feet forward, one after the other, to that small junior. There he was, my prey, sitting by the table looking so defenceless. I approached him without any thought.

"How was it?" was what came out of my mouth.

I reminded him about the dinner and asked for his number, I actually dared to ask for his number while for Beam it took me more than two weeks to get his. Though being a bit forceful I thought it was quicker to get closer. And again Pha has the best timing ever...just when the atmosphere between Wayo and I was good.

"Ai'Forth, Ai'Kit is looking for you" Pha said

Aghh Ai'Kit!! It was not the time. Well I did have a prior meeting with him but it was such a good occasion to deepen my relationship with that junior.

I sadly go away from them and walked towards the building to look for my short and cutest medicine friend. I was lost in thought and bumped into someone.

"Sorry..." I said without looking up and continued to walk

"Ai'Forth." Someone said as they grabbed my arms to stop me from walking away. It made me snap out of my thoughts and I turned around to look at that person. It was Kit, the one that crushed my chance to strengthen my relationship with nong Wayo.

Ai' Kit got a serious look from me. He didn't understand why I was glaring at him.

"What??? Why are you staring at me like that?!" kit asked with a puzzling face.

"Nothing. I was just talking with nong Wayo just now" I replied with a sigh

We promised to play R.O.V (phone game) together and the timing couldn't just be better.

"Where's Beam?" I asked while trying to spot him around

"He got called by a girl just now and ran to her immediately with wagging tails" he giggled

Sigh. Great. The one I love is messing around with girls while I tried to court a junior and got cut off by the worst rival ever. You can say I am a guy with such great luck. I sighed again.

"What's with you?" Ai'Pha asked as he approached us

He only talked to Nong Yo for few minutes. That's great news I guess. If I have Ai'Pha as rival I think I will lose for sure, just like the faculty moon title he snatched so easily. Well, I was not really interested in having the title; I was too focused on Beam. But it was not as if I could win anyway. Who can win against Pha anyway? No one. He is the king of the University and has everyone wrapped around his fingers. Hopefully Pha is not the kind of person to bother about those popularity things nor is he the type to play around.
