"Are you Grayson Dolan?" I heard a girl in the hallway chant.
My eyes drifted to him, big biceps and pink flushed lips. I was definitely not enjoying the attention he was getting.
He slammed his locker dragging his black bag on his back, "yeah I'm Grayson, but you can always call me daddy G," he winked.
His humor was dull and his boner was visible from where I was standing.
"Excuse me," I barged in their conversation before he left the exists of the school, "I'm Hayden."
"Hi Hayden," he said scratching the back of his neck.
"I met your brother earlier," I informed him.
"Weren't you the misbehaving girl who needed to see the Literature teacher after class," he teased.
"Stop being an ass," I said budging his shoulder.
He grabbed my arms off of him, wow his hands were massive.
"Hayden, have you seen Ethan?" He asked.
"No, but I'm having friends over for a swim after school, would you like to come over?" I asked.
"I would but I think it was Chelsey who needed help with some subject after school," he said.
God damn, I hated that bitch.
"Just saying she's already smart and knows everything inside out, she's just wanting you over to fuck," I laughed, "to make me jealous, I can't seem to care less."
"I mean that's a better thing to do than study and are you sure you won't be jealous," he snorted.
"I don't know you well enough to be jealous," I smiled walking away, his eyes trailed to my lower half.
Grayson's P.O.V
I opened my bag and searched for the small piece of paper that Chelsey had written her number on during lunch. Finally I found it and texted the number.
Me: Hey.
Chelsey: Hi.
Me: I can't come over today.
Chelsey: How come, everything ok?
Me: Yeah, it's just something urgent came up.
I closed my phone, not caring to respond to the next message she was most likely going to send.
My dad was flying in for the weekend and I knew exactly what that meant. I didn't want anything to do with my father. Other than blood we had no relation. The influence he had over me was incredible because a part of me was him. Everything he did was pitiful but through hard concentration I was him. Everything that happened between me and my father stayed between him and I, Ethan never knew, and I was glad. The memories of everything that went down haunted my mind forever and my mind slowly started imitating his actions.
I just didn't want to see him, at least not now. I felt like moving to a new city meant big changed for me, it meant a possible escape from my father and now he wanted to involve himself in my life again.
I had too much on my mind that I needed to let go and maybe the swim at Hayden's wouldn't be the worst possible thing.
"Hayden," I called swiftly running in her direction, "about that swim can I still come?"
"Yeah, of course," she smiled, "Ethan is also coming."
"You canceled your little get together with Chelsey?" She asked in confusion.
"No, I was wondering if she could come along with me," I hissed in desperation.
"I don't really like her and I don't invite people over to my house if I don't like them," she spat coldly.
"Oh, so you're that type of girl," I said in a cocky voice.
"What type?" She argued.
"The girl who argues with others to get her way, the girl who is always stubborn and wants to be the center of everything," I said.
"You don't know me," she said walking away.
"And just for your information I just uninvited you to my swim," she added.
"Cool, you'll miss the fun," I said plainly.
I watched her leaving. She had bold and splendor grey irises, brunette hair, and stunning red lips. The curves of her body were angled at each point almost precisely. I already could tell what type of girl she was. She was me in a girl form, she enjoyed hard to get and definitely thought herself as superior over others. Although, she wasn't my type.
My phone rang as I exited the school doors. I swiftly glanced at my phone thinking it was Chelsey. However it wasn't her, I didn't want to answer the phone, it was my father.
Ignoring the message I put my phone back into my left pocket. My phone vibrated two more times. I was scared however in annoyance I decided to check the message.
I'm coming to visit you, I need to talk to you, and it's urgent :)
This couldn't happen again, it was my father, and everything was wrong. Memories and flashbacks of everything that had occurred flooded my thoughts. In the beginning I wished Ethan knew everything but at the same time I don't ever want him finding out what actually has been going on with me since almost forever.
My fingers flickered over the letters, scared of how I actually wanted to reply with how I should reply.
My fingers fiddled over the letters displayed on my phone, --- I can't I don't want you to ever be near my life again, is that FUCKING CLEAR? ---
I backspaced all the words, retyped. I nudged my head back hitting the plaster board of the exit door of the school.
--- I need sometime, is it okay if you visit later? --- I typed, then erased once again.
--- Ok, I will pick you up shortly because I just got out of school.
I love you dad. ---
