Don't fall asleep. Don't fall asleep.

Mathew had been doing this for the past three days. Every time he fell asleep, he woke up to something more terrible then before.

But he could still feel himself changing. He could feel the burning in his veins, the pounding in his head.

Mathew didn't know what was going on. He seemed to have super strength, and he could shoot electricity from the palm of his hand. But when he tried to punch through the wall he finally got to a layer of the wall that was designed to be indestructible.

He could also move things with his mind. Very slightly. Like with a pebble on the floor. He was able to move it left and right a few inches.

There was a little tiny elevator that would come down and deliver his food. Mathew was too big to fit in it, and anyway it won't go up until Mathew was away from it.

It must be in Mathews food. That's the only possible explanation for what was happening to him.

The old Mathew wouldn't have eaten the food if he knew there was something in it, but this Mathew didn't care. This Mathew had given up.

Suddenly Mathew felt a surge of anger. Why him? Why couldn't it be someone else? Why did he have to be experimented on, tortured.

Mathew let all of his anger out, through his hands, aimed at the door. A huge blast of electricity shot out of his hand, and it blew the door off its hinges.

Mathew didn't have time to wonder if he was free, before Barbie stepped into the room.

"You, Mathew," said Barbie. "Are ready for the last stage of testing."

"So, how did you get in here?" Kiarra asked john.

John chuckled and gave us his creepy smile. "I told you." He said. "I've been in here since the day they all "left."."

"You mean," said Katie, looking at Kiarra, then back at john. "You've been in here for thirty years?"

"Well, I had no choice!" Said john. "I couldn't get past that stupid door!"

"Why would they just leave you here?" Asked Kiarra.

John began to laugh, then he began to cough. "I wanted to stay behind." Said john.

John was probably insane, thought Kiarra. There was no use in trying to talk to him.

Then john spoke. "I've been so lonely."

Suddenly the lamp on the other side of the room shook and fell to the floor, shattering.

"That does seem to happen sometimes." Said john, giving us another one of his creepy grins.

Then Bookin ran into the room. "We need to go, know" she said.

"But they are going to leave." Said John, quietly, as if he was talking to himself. "I guess your right."

Suddenly Katie's feet left the ground, and she realized that she was floating in thin air. She didn't even have time to be terrified before an invisible force flung her against the wall, and she landed with a sickening crack.

"Katie!" Screamed Bookin and Kiarra. Kiarra shot rainbow magic at john, but he seemed to be blocking it with some invisible force.

"Go check on Katie." Kiarra said to Bookin. "I can handle john."

Kiarra imagined rainbow magic pushing in on john from all sides, and it happened in real life.

John fell to the floor, but he still got back up. John pulled a knife from his belt and flung it at Kiarra.

The knife held itself against Kiarra's neck. The knife dug into her neck just a little bit, and a drop of blood fell against the floor.

Kiarra could see Bookin sneaking out of the station with Katie in her arms. Good. Maybe if this is the end for Kiarra, her friends will still make it out alive.

John walked up to Kiarra's face, and she could smell his breath.

"Want to know a secret?" Asked john. "Once upon a time, I was married to dentures. I broke her chains the first time, did you know that?"

Kiarra laughed softly. "Well, I killed her." Said Kiarra. "How does that make you feel?"

Kiarra shot a blast of rainbow magic right at johns chest.

John slammed against the wall, unconscious. The knife fell to the floor.

Kiarra ran out of the station, and as she went out, she closed the door and locked it.

That'll keep him in there, thought Kiarra.
