The subsequent weeks after Ravi's close encounter with Ken was pretty much a bliss to Ravi. Not only was Ken visiting the café more than usual, but he also tried interacting more with Ravi.

It was a chilly Wednesday morning before the café had opened its doors to the public, but Ken and Leo were already sitting at Ken's favourite seat. Ravi looked over curiously and tried eavesdropping on their conversation. N, who was wiping his hands thoroughly on his apron, walked over to Ravi and hit his head.

"Stop staring at them. Come, follow me," N smirked and grabbed Ravi's wrist before he could reject his hyung.

N brought him over to where Leo and Ken were and jerked his head towards Ken, hinting Ravi to sit beside him. Ravi opened his mouth and stood awkwardly but soon sat down, simply because he had no other choice. Ken greeted him and Ravi's faced became flushed and bright red.

"So, Christmas is approaching and that means we'll be having more orders for our cakes," N started and wrapped his arms around Leo.

N snuggled closer to Leo before continuing. "So, since Ken is willing, I've decided to temporarily hire him to work here."

"What?!", Ravi blurted out and stared at N.

N looked at him expectantly and tilted his head to the side. "And the café will be closed for a week because we need a holiday toom"

"What?!"

"Oh! And also, I'll put you in charge of teaching Ken a thing or two about this place. Hong Bin has some family issues and Leo and I are going on a holiday," Hakyeon said and grinned at Ravi.

This time Ravi sat in silence, not knowing what to do. N giggled a little and leaned over to ruffle Ravi's hair.

"Don't worry, everything's going to be fine," N told him and smiled at his younger Co-worker.

Leo pulled back N's hand from Ravi and frowned a little, making N laugh at his boyfriend's possessiveness. Once they were all done discussing, Leo and Ken took their leave. Ravi punched N on the arm and the elder's face was plastered with confusion.

"Hyung! Why Ken of all people?! You know how flustered I get when he's around!", Ravi explained, throwing his hands up in frustration.

N sighed. "It's a chance to get closer. Face to face, not just via social media. Ken's been talking to you and he doesn't even know who "Kwonchic" is."

Ravi folded his arms defensively and said nothing because N had a point. However, he was still feeling a little unsure about it.

"N-hyung, but what if he finds out I'm the person he's been talking to? I'm just worried he'll realise I've just some pathetic liar whose job is just a barista," Ravi rambled and N went over to give him a hug, patting his back gently.

"Be yourself that's the most important. Ken is not the type of judgemental person and besides, you're used to being judged by Hong Bin everyday," N mused at the last part and pulled away from Ravi.

Ravi thanked N softly and went to clear the drinks, when he realised that Ken had left his phone on the table.

"Ravi!", he heard Ken's voice loud and clear, turning around to face him.

Ravi gulped and raised his brows while looking Ken straight in the eye. There was always this permanent sparkle in Ken's eyes that never ceased to mesmerise Ravi and it wasn't hard to find the younger staring right into them longingly. Ken waved his hand in front of Ravi and smiled while pointing to the phone in Ravi's hands.

"My phone?" Ravi apologised quickly while handing over the phone.

"Thank you. Um, are you free tomorrow?", Ken asked Ravi and the younger looked down and nodded his head ever so slightly.

Ken ruffled Ravi's fluffy hair and chuckled. "Well, do you mind following me to the mall then? I need to get some simple white shirts if I'm gonna be working here.

"Me?", Ravi thought he had misheard Ken's question.

Ken nodded. "Yeah. We could have dinner too."

Ravi's heart was pounding against his chest hard and he let out a shaky breath. Ken wanted to go out with him?

"There's other friends too..."

"Do you not want to go?"

Ravi finally looked up at Ken and saw a hint of dismay in his eyes.

"I do wish to follow you but why me?", Ravi asked and Ken only giggled softly.

"That reason I'll tell you next time but for now, I'll take it that you are going with me. Meet you at the café at eleven in the morning," Ken said as he poked Ravi's cheeks and left the café.

Ravi stood there dumbfounded, but also half excited. Ken sort of asked him out and he was going to spend a day with his crush. He squealed out loud and rushed to the kitchen to find N.

"I saw and I heard everything. Good luck tomorrow," N winked at Ravi and continued making the cheese tarts. "Please focus now, the café is opening soon."

Ravi nodded and skipped to the cashier. It would be a long day today, but knowing that Ken would be with him tomorrow, it made it slightly better.
