Shay's POV

It's been about a month of being here and all I have done is be in the ER, refuse to eat, be on my phone, go in and out of coma and that's about it.  Matt moved me to the main ward yesterday. I am apparently getting a roommate. I am not ready for this, but I get to leave my room today for the first time at least. I was weighed this morning and it read 39 pounds, I couldn't be more happier, but I am really weak and they told me if I get below 20 I will die. I look around the room that has a dresser for me and clothes in it. My coloring books, charger, phone, gel pens, my laptop, and a bunch of books. If a roommate doesn't work for me I'm told I will be moved to a different part of the hospital for cases like mine.

Cases like mine? What does that even mean i wonder.

I sit on my bed looking out the window, before I get up and go to group. Walking I get dizzy and look around and Matt comes behind me helping me to the group room. A lot of people are talking and when I walk in they all stop and look at me. Matt is washing my other clothes so I am wearing a kids pair of sweatpants and sweatshirt that actually fit and show off my size. They whisper softly and I look for Ana who is in the corner staring at me.

"They are talking about you Shay."

"What are they talking about Ana?" I say in my head so others don't think I am crazy

Ana's voice pops into my head. "How fat and gross you look."

A voice I don't know pops into my head, "Don't listen to  her Shay."

The voices go away and I sit down at one of the desks viddling with the sleeve. I bite my lip  and look around examining everyone. Before I get a good chance a girl sits next to me,

"Hi i'm Ashley, I'm your roommate, but I am only here for a week before I get to go home." I look at her and she has her hair in a bob and it's red. She's bigger and missing a few teeth.

"Hi...I'm Shay and oh.. Why do you get to leave so soon.." I mumble biting my lip

"Oh I know who you are, you're the girl that everyone says has been here a month never been out of the er and had a code black, blue and red. I get to leave in a week or less because I only was put in here because I was involved in a fight." she says.

I nod my head softly and turn away wishing for the day to go by fast.

That's when Aaron the nurse comes in to start group.
