"T-Tae."

I fought back the tears that were threatening to spill from my eyes, but in the end, the tears won.

I enveloped him in a tight embrace, my hands wrapped tightly around his neck and buried my face in his shoulder. I felt him stiffen, but I didn't care.

"Taehyung," I sobbed, letting my tears drip onto his shirt.

What he did next was unexpected.

He placed his palms on my chest and roughly pushed me away. I stumbled back, shocked.

He was crying.

"You... you left me after two years of dating and never came back. And now... you're doing this?" He said between sobs as I averted my gaze to the floor. I wanted to tell him so badly that I missed him.

That I didn't want to do it.

"I-I never wanted to leave you," I whispered under my breath, but he caught it.

"Then why? Why did you? Tell me," he demanded, his voice was beginning to crack. I wanted to scream the answer for the whole world to hear.

For him to listen.

But I knew I couldn't.

I bit my lip, my tears still dripping onto the floor.

"I can't."

He scoffed.

"Bullshit." He rolled his eyes. He wiped his tears, and pushed past me with his luggage behind him and walked upstairs into one of the rooms, not forgetting to slam the door, locking it straight after.

Suddenly, my surroundings were swirling in front of my eyes, my vision unclear.

I tried to continue standing, but I couldn't. I felt my knees beginning to fail me.

I desperately tried to scream for help as I felt my strength weakening, but nothing came out from my dry throat.

The last thought that crossed my mind was an image of Taehyung.

The Taehyung who would always wear that boxy grin on his face.

The Taehyung who loved me as much as I loved him.

Then all I could see was black, and I felt my legs collapse beneath me.
