"Damn it Dimitri! You did it again! You know it's against the rules to kill anyone." I heard being shouted in the distance. I was coming back to consciousness slowly. I couldn't see yet, but I heard voices and sounds flooding my brain. Also, a dull pain seemed to cover most of my body.

"I didn't kill her, Russell, stop being dramatic." I heard another voice speak, the one I'd heard earlier that night. It seemed slightly annoyed, and at the same time slightly anxious. "I didn't even take that much."

"Close enough." The voice sighed "What are we going to do with her anyways? You remember last time you brought your little plaything home? We both got in trouble for that. I'm not taking the bait for this one. Why couldn't you just use the feeders instead of an innocent girl?"

"Why don't you just make her forget everything that happened then? Send her home and no troubles for anyone. No one has to know this ever happened." A woman's voice chimed in, an older woman, as if it was the most obvious answer.

"There's too big of chance that it won't work and something will slip into her mind" A male voice came again, Russell I suppose "Dimitri, you're the one who made this mess, you're the one that's going to come up with a solution to fix it"

"We'll keep her then" Dimitri replied simply. "We'll keep her as a feeder."

"Keep me?" I murmured, sitting up and blinking my eyes several times to get a clear view of what was happening in front of me. I took in a short grey haired lady that looked like she was in her seventies, the tall dark haired man that'd kidnapped me, and another blond, just slightly taller than Dimitri. I still felt the pain crashing through my body and I let out a slight moan.

"Yes. We'll keep you. The decision is made" Dimitri stated "You'll be our little pet. Besides, you're in no condition to go anywhere."

"No thanks to you." I scoffed, shaking my aching head in annoyance "And no, you may not keep me. I'm not your pet. Or your plaything... Whatever. Either of yours"

"Yes-" Dimitri started but was interrupted by the blond.

"What my brother here means is that you will be staying here shortly. As a friend preferably, if you will. He isn't very good with words" The blond said, bending over to face me as if I was a small child "But you will be staying here, for a time at least. And since that is the case, I should probably formally introduce myself. I am Russell, this is my little brother Dimitri, and the maid."

"Hazel. My name is Hazel" The grey-haired lady stated simply, clearly irritated with "the maid" thing.

"Well that's all fine and good, but I'm not staying here, and I definitely am not your friend. I will never be your friend" I snapped, standing up quickly and straightening my shirt. My legs wobbled slightly but that didn't stop me. This got a grin from Dimitri, a frown from Hazel and a sigh from Russell. "I'm leaving. Don't bother escorting me out."

"You're not going anywhere" Dimitri growled, pinning me to the wall and knocking a few picture frames down in the process. His hands gripped my wrists roughly and his eyes glared into mine, forcing his way into my brain once again.

"Get your hands off of her Dimitri. There's no need for violence, not when this small issue can be resolved so simply" Russell said, shaking his head and pulling on his brothers shoulders. Hazel was already buzzing quickly around us, a broom and dustpan in her hand. "I'll take care of-"

"Boys! What have we here?" I heard another voice call behind the action, a voice that had such persuasion and authority. The maid stopped cleaning  immediately, bowing towards the figure in the entrance. I smirked as the other two did the exact same thing.

"Father" Russell started, after returning to a normal position "Dimitri has brought this home"

"Dimitri?" The father looked towards Dimitri questioningly, his eyebrows raised. Dimitri looked at his father like a child who'd broke a sentimental object, and his father sighed, shaking his head "Dimitri, Dimitri, Dimitri. You disappoint me my son, you clearly lack the brains in the family"

"I apologize father. I didn't mean for this to happen-"

"Well what exactly did you expect to happen when you brought dinner home?" His father began ranting "You know the rules in this house. You know the rules of our world. You broke them once again. There will be punishment for you. For now we will deal with getting rid of this human."

"What do you mean get rid of her, father?" Russell asked, brows furrowed.

"We'll have to kill her, erase every trace of evidence that she was ever here, of course" The father declared.

"We're not killing her" Dimitri argued "Anything but that. We can keep her, father"

"We're not keeping a human around here!" His father shouted "You can't simply keep humans without their permission. She's still a teenager. She'll have family looking for her, and we're not going to deal with the police when they do start looking for her."

"Please, father, we can deal with her family" Dimitri begged once again "I give you my word that I won't let anything happen"

"Really now, Dimitri" His father snorted and shook his head "Your word means nothing to me, silly child"

"Father..." I could hear the sadness in his voice. I enjoyed every bit of it, as mean as that may sound.

"Dimitri... do not make him mad" His brother interrupted, whispering.

"Well, why does Hazel get to stay then?" His voice suddenly changed, there was hatred in it.  "Because you had a thing for her? You didn't seem at all worried when you decided she'd be yours."

"That was decades ago, besides, I am your father and your maker and you will not defy me" His father shouted "I expect the girl gone by sunrise. If she is not you will have much worse things to face than the police and punishment by the council. That, my son, is a promise"
