Jungkook's heart beats in a way that no one has ever been able to make it beat before. Jin's lips feel absolutely amazing, soft, succulent, warm. They move slowly, afraid of rushing into something that Jungkook doesn't quite understand yet. Hands stay where they are, Jin's hand on Jungkook's cheek and Jungkook's hands stiffly at his sides. Everything fades away, both eyes closed and the only sensation both of them experience is their lips on each other's.

Jin moves a little closer, pushing Jungkook back slightly. Jungkook suddenly loses his wits and separates from Jin, breathing hard even though the kiss was delicate and quick.

"What's wrong Kookie?" Jin asks. The younger boy suddenly shoots up and backs away, backing into the night stand and tripping on the floor. Jin reaches out to help Jungkook up but he slaps his hand away.

Shocked, Jin retracts his hand and bites his lip, trying to hold back his hurt. Jungkook glares at the man and slowly stands up on his own. His eyes are trained on the ground as he backs himself into the wall and create space between Jin and him.

"I thought... I thought you wanted this." Jin whispers, heart momentarily stopping, hands shaking slightly, lip quivering between his teeth. Jungkook scoffs and crosses his arms, to protect himself more than anything else. Protect himself from getting hurt, protect himself from the truth.

"Why would I want this? I'm not gay. You know that." Before Jin can reply he storms off. On his way out he sees a beautiful painting, breathtaking and alluring. He stares at it and tears form in his eyes.

How had Jin found it? He had thrown it away. It shouldn't be here. It should be where it belongs.

In the trash.

Jungkook grabs it off the wall and removes the painting from the frame, tears blinding him. He rips it in half, again and again and again until it's unrecognizable. The shreddings fall to the ground gently, like snow.

Everything freezes. Jungkook glares at the pink and white layer below him and his body starts to feel hot. He hears a door open but remains planted to the ground, stiff as a tree.

"What did you do?!" Jin screams, running over to the shattered art scattered on the carpeted ground. He falls to his knees and tries to pick up the pieces of paper and the fragments of his heart. Jungkook turns slowly to watch the man shrivel into a boy. A boy saddened by rejection and pain.  As he watches Jin try and piece everything back together hopelessly, he clenches his fist.

"You shouldn't have this! I threw it out. It doesn't belong here. It doesn't belong anywhere!" Jin remembers what Namjoon had told him before giving him the painting.

" I found it in the trash. I can't believe someone would throw away something this magnificent. Whoever it is, he or she must have skills."

"You... You made that?" Jin asks, looking up, eyes watering. Remembering that it was in fact, a photo of a girl at this point, Jungkook smirks. Jin is taken aback by this sudden turn.

"Yes. I did. I painted a beautiful woman. That's what I want. A woman. Not. You." Jungkook  drops the frame with a thud and simply walks out of Jin's apartment.

Jin sits amongst the destruction and breaks down. He shouldn't have done it. He shouldn't have gone out on a limb and trusted his feeling. His feelings are useless, pointless, and never did anything but bring him misery. Of course, Jin stands up and does the only thing he can do.

"Hey Joonie? Can you come over?"

Jungkook walks down the stairs one step at a time, sullenly and heavy with regret. A few feet feel like  a mile as he makes his way back into his apartment. When he gets in he throws himself onto the couch face first and buries himself into the cushions. Yoongi walks in with a laugh, cutting through the tense aura around the younger boy.

"That's what you get for drinking dumbass," Yoongi says, throwing a blanket over the boy.

"Get some rest. You still have another day of detention. Jin is taking you tomorrow." Yoongi pours himself a cup of water and begins sipping it while flipping through his class itinerary.

"No!" Jungkook shouts. Yoongi raises an eyebrow and glances at him questionably.

"I mean... um... Can I just work with you?" Yoongi scratches the back of his head, confused.

"What do you mean work with me? You're the one who kept complaining that the work I gave you was too difficult and that Jin would let you chill." Jungkook twiddles his thumbs nervously.

"Yeah... I know but I'll just deal with it. Jin's probably tired of me."

"Why?"

"Cause I ruin everything."

MERRY CHRISTMAS! Eve... I figured I owed you guys a chapter. There's been so much going on in my life that I haven't even thought about wattpad, kpop, or even writing. I just started at a new University and it's a bit more difficult than my old one. I'm working on my bachelors so I'm taking all upper level classes. I got promoted at my job and I'm working more hours.

When I got the news that Jonghyun had died I decided to recommit myself to the kpop world to make it up to him. Aside from being an ARMY I am also Shawol and I was devastated to find out that Shinee lost a member. Hopefully I don't disappoint you all with such a short chapter. I will try to work harder and make you guys proud.
