"Jimin!" Hoseok shouts, chasing the boy as he runs towards the courtyard of their university, sun glinting off his silver hair.

The younger boy waves the black  leather bound notebook over his head, mocking his hyung as he runs backwards. Jungkook rolls his eyes at his hyungs' interactions but a smile breaks through as he realizes how strong their friendship really is. He wishes he had something like that, someone to make him as happy as Jimin and Hoseok make each other. A friend who can make him feel as cared for and loved as they did for each other.

Jimin and Hoseok have known each other since they were in primary school and they've been inseparable since that first day. Jungkook joined the trio after they met in high school and Taehyung came soon after when they entered university. It was always the two older boys that made Taehyung and Jungkook feel like third and fourth wheels but Jungkook didn't mind, he appreciated sitting back and watching the two shine.

"Why don't you guys just date already?!" Taehyung yells exasperatedly. He pulls at his blonde hair and makes a strange bug eyed expression. Hoseok and Jimin look at each other, an almost knowing glance, before looking away and rolling their eyes.

"So Jungkook, do you know what's going to be on Professor Min's test?" Hoseok asks, almost desperately.

"Did you not study?" Jimin asks, arms wrapped around his neck and chin resting on his shoulder.

"Of course I didn't. I figured Jungkook would have the answers since he's living with the professor duh," Taehyung throws his chopsticks at the boy.

"You're older than us, you should at least try and be smarter than us too."

"Professor Min never lets me into his office so no, I don't know the answers or where the answer key is. I know what's on the test tho, since he's my tutor," Hoseok suddenly gets on his knees and plasters his hands together, lips pursed out and eyes begging.

"Please share your wisdom Jungkook-ah!" The youngest boy sighs deeply as he takes out a pen and paper, writing down the chapter numbers and sections for the boys to study deeply, the ones to study lightly, and the ones to ignore. He doesn't know why he denies to help each time, he always gives in after Hoseok begs.

"Thank you Jungkook, thank you! I will cherish this information deeply."

"Now go study dumb ass," Taehyung  shoos the elder boy as he packs up his bags for his next class. Jungkook looks at his watch and his heart beat quickens.

Fine arts, the class he and Taehyung signed up to take together, taught by Profession Kim Seokjin. His mind races as he remembers the package and the situation in the car.

Jungkook watches Jin stare straight forward as he takes caution in driving straight and avoiding eye contact with the boy. His knuckles are white against the black steering wheel but he tries to tap a single finger against the faux leather in sync with the music flowing gently from the speakers. His eyes follow the melody played on Jin's orchestral batons but the question lingers in his mind, no amount of music or distraction can keep his big mouth shut.

"Why did you buy it?" Jungkook asks, Jin stomping on the brakes and stopping abruptly, red light bright and horns honking behind him because of the sudden pause.

"I told you that was none of your concern. I don't discuss my personal life with students," the car was silent after Jin finished his sentence but its quickly followed by Jungkook's hysterical laughter.

"You know I'm not just a student Jinnie, I'm practically family. Does Yoongi know about it? Am I the only one? I can keep a secret." Jungkook's voice is ranting and bubbly, almost playful and teasing. Jin rolls his eyes and steps on the gas harshly as the light green.

"Yoongi doesn't know. Please keep it a secret. It's awkward and inappropriate to talk about. Don't tell your group of friends either."

"I won't. Only if you answer my question!" Jin tightens his grip on the wheel and jerks it to the left to take the turn into the university's parking lot. The two boys stare at each other, one nervous and the other determined. The deep curiosity in Jungkook's eyes penetrated Jin's mind and he finds himself telling the boy the truth.

"I'm gay"
