Intimacy

The next morning I woke up a little after 4 am. It was strange, I hadn't dreamed of anything. I was thankful for that. The memories of the previous day flowed through my mind and I remebered the moments me and Damien shared.

His arm was wrapped protectively around me while my back leaned up against his chest. The warmth from his arm and chest made me feel so comfortable and my wolf was content being close to his wolf.

Damien was so much bigger then me. He stood at 6'5 while I'm a mere 5'4. So you can only imagine how warm and comforting his hug and embrace is when you're cuddled up in the bed with him.

"Embrace him, Elena..." My wolf said calmly to me. I could feel her desperation and need to be closer to him and to be completely honest I wanted the same thing too.

I turned over gently, to not wake him, so that I was facing his chest. I looked up at him and I saw peace gracing his sharp features. His hair had fallen infront his face a little and his jaw was at completely ease. The rise and fall of his chest was so soft and to hear his heartbeat. Steady and even.

"We need him, Elena. Don't fight me on this." My wolf said sighing as we both looked up at him.

I wrapped my arms around his torso and cuddled my face into his chest. Catching his heavenly scent, mint. I think Damien woke up a little at my fussing and hugging his chest because he wrapped both his arms more tight around my waist, to hold me even closer to him.

It was little intimate moment that made me feel a way I hadn't felt before. This warm feeling running through my body and mainly my chest. It was something I'd never forget.

I soon fell asleep after that, cuddled up in his arms, where I felt safe.

Damien POV

I felt her turn over and move a little closer to me. I didn't want to say anything yet, I was curious to know what she would do. You know? Last night was pretty intense, I finally found out what had happened to her, my Elena. After knowing what she went through and her parents being gone, I couldn't blame her for how she acted, it was only natural.

She's one the strongest people I know. My Elena, my babygirl.

I felt her staring at me and I could feel through our mate bond that she was admiring me and it took all I had not to kiss her and hug her so tight. I only want to love and protect her. She deserves everything good in this cold world.

"She's an angel.." My wolf said through my mind. Both me and my wolf can feel her and her wolf's emotions and feelings. The feeling of warmth.

It was then that she hugged my chest tight and I felt her face snuggled up into my chest. It made me so happy. She was accepting us and this little action she did, I will remember for the rest of my life.

I couldn't resist any more, I wrapped both my arms around her little waist and pulled her even closer to my chest.

"My love, we will always protect you" Both me and my wolf said through my mind.

We both fell asleep shortly after. But this precious moment that we both shared that night, will forever be in my heart. My Elena, my love.
