Shiroko's POV
"I'm sorry!" I whisper-yelled as soon as I was outside the gates of the mansion.
"You kept me waiting for quite a long time. I was tempted to break in again and see if you had forgotten and gone to sleep" A agitated voice called out. There, sitting on a pillar, was Kazu. His face looked very annoyed as if I had wasted his precious time which I probably did.
"I'm really sorry Kazu, I forgot and I went to sleep. I then woke up and remembered and ran outside as fast as possible." He looked at me for a few seconds before sighing and resting his head on his resting palm.
"Well, at least you came." He sighed once again and jumped down from the pillar.
"So why did you call me out here in the middle of the night?" It was probably something important.
He looked me right in the eye. "I'm......"
'Yes what is it?? Hurry up and spit it out!" I told him.
"Bored" ....... Boi. U woke me up in the middle of the night just because you're bored and want to hang out with someone? Boiiii nope fuck this shit I'm out.
"Bye." I walked back towards the gates before he stopped me by somehow appearing in front of me and putting out a arm.
"Please. I'm lonely." He gave me a sad pouty face and I couldn't resist.
"Okay fineee." I agreed. "But on one condition." I squished his cheeks. "Awww squish squish!"
"Don't do that!" He gently pushed my arms away. 'Treat your elders with respect!" He barked.
"Oh yeah? How much older are you than me?" I stuck my tongue out.
"Uhh.... I don't know." Boiiiiiiiiii.
"Okay then.." I answered after a few minutes. "Lets just say you're 2 years older okay? I mean, you look around that age to me."
He thought about it for a few minutes before nodding. "Sure."
"Alright!" I pumped a fist in the air. He gave a quick, tiny smile.
"Anyways, I'll help." He spoke.
"With what??" I'm pretty sure I don't need help from Kazu.
"I'll help you learn how to use your magic, increase your levels and gain new magic."... Oh damn. Maybe I do need his help. A lot of his help.
"Thank you!" I gave him a quick hug. He patted my head.
"We'll start some other day. Go back to bed, you have a big day ahead of you." I gave him one last smile before sneaking back into the mansion.
~Time Skip~
"Good morning Shiroko! Did you have a good nights sleep?" A very pretty looking Mrs.Tachibana asked me.
No i didn't was what I wanted to say. After chatting with Kazu from 1-1:30 AM I went back to sleep for 2 hours before an excited Momo burst into my room and made me get up.
"Yes, yes I did. Thanks for asking." I smiled politely.
"Thats good dear. Now go eat breakfast, today's a big day!" With that, she happily walked away to the bathroom while humming a tune.
"Oh good morning Shiroko! There you are! I thought you got lost in the house or something." Mom waved to me as I entered the dining hall. She was cheerily munching on some fruit and expensive things.
"Morning Momo. Are you excited?" As soon as I asked her that question she froze.
'I.. I. I uh.. Yea!" Momo gave me a shaky smile. She must be really nervous then.
