I'm still so excited, but I had forgotten about Trenton Lawrence, the school's annoyance. Trenton says some weird stuff like cool beans. What I say about him is that he is gay. Like, gay gay. Like he's gay. I mean, I have nothing against gay guys, it's just, I'm not gay myself, and whenever I say gay, I mean someone liking their own gender. Anyways, he acts like a bully as well. That morning he said "What're doing? Eating gelfish? You are so gay and I like yo... I mean, I hate you!" "Ummm, okay....?" I said very questioningly. Then he walks off like he's the president or something with his bodyguards, Crabbe and Goyle. Anyways, I was not going to let anyone bring me down from very excited, to very gloomy. "Today's the day," I thought to myself,"Today's the day of our last field trip in school. Better enjoy it" And I tried, I really did. But the fact that I had no one to share it with was beaming out there. The only person closest to a friend was Julie, who isn't really a friend, more of just a person to talk to I guess. Now, you might say that's mean, but you don't know Juli like I do, when I first moved into her neighborhood, she greeted us with being nosy, tracking mud everywhere, and has no respect for personal space. Like, none, zero, zip, nada, and any words that mean none.
Anyways, getting back on subject, I felt like I was going to burst, I had to tell someone about that encounter last night, but I knew I couldn't, I would sound like a liar, and be pushed out. So I kept it bottled up. As best as I could anyway. Honestly, I feel like I did a good job keeping it to myself all day, until the bus ride. I kinda just blew up, but quietly, and to a friend that I thought was on a trip on the Caribbean sea, but was cut short because their yachts engine stopped a few meters from the port. My friends' name is Bruce, he's like my brother, but better. When I sat down, I waited until the bus got loud then blabbered really fast, "Hey Bruce, You wanna know something funny, so last night I went to get some milk, then a creepy masked man appeared at my window, stayed there for a little, then bashed in, almost killed me, then I yelled stop, and he did, then he left, funny right? HAHAHA!!" I left him in a state of shock, then after a very awkward moment, he calmly said, "So, you almost got killed last night? And you're in shock?" I nodded. "So what, at least you didn't get killed, think about it that way."
That helped me a lot because for the rest of the day, especially since when we got there, they had nice, wooden cabins, polished floorboards. We each had our own cabin, we had a fireplace surrounded by bricks. Here's the good part, the mattresses, they aren't like rocks, they're like clouds, but softer and easier to fall asleep on. To be honest, I immediately sat on my bed and wanted to nap, so I did, but here's the thing, I was literally asleep before I hit the pillow, which I might add, is like a big fluffy cloud. I went outside when I got up and admired the scenery. The area surrounding us was filled with Aspen trees, Oak, Birch, you name it. I even saw a beautiful lake past the trees. I hadn't thought about 'the incident' once until I had seen a creepy shack after trailing Ashlyn, Natalie, Alexis Bailey, and Evelyne, all kind of drama queens, except Evelyne. She claims to be transgender, and a bi-sexual, so she has turned down every single guy who has asked her out, so there is a chance she likes girls.
Anyways, I was trailing them because they said that they were going to go to this creepy shack, so I snuck after them. They went in the shack and disappeared, I heard a scream, so I grabbed the first thing I saw, a hatchet stuck in a log, I sprinted into the shack and I saw Ashlyn on the ground, an axe through her skull, dead, and the other girls in the corner, then my eyes wandered, and I caught him. The masked man was with his scythe swinging it and staring straight at Natalie. Next thing I know, there's a head rolling on the ground, and a body falls to the ground, and blood everywhere. Nothing happened for a moment, then when someone finally registered what had happened, they started to scream. I found a case that read 'In Case of emergency, Break glass' With an axe in it. I elbowed the glass and winced in pain as a shard sticks into my arm. I grabbed the axe as fast as I could, and found him, swinging his scythe above his head, staring straight at me. Before I could figure out what was happening, he swung at me. I fell and somehow got out of the way. Someone pulled me out of the way by my ankle, it was Allie! Before I could talk, I saw a scythe hit the ground, inches from my head, I got up as quick as I could, and I noticed the scythe stuck in the ground, and the 'thing' trying to pull it out. So using my time, I scanned the room for the axe, and I noticed everyone at the doorway, watching what was going to happen, then they looked at the decapitated body, lying there. I looked some more and noticed the axe on the ground behind the killer. I quickly scrambled to get there, and when I grabbed the axe, I heard a thump. Then I look up, and he was there. Ok, you guys don't realize how scary that was, the killer there, staring at me, the hockey mask he had, was gone, turns out, he has a face.
