Unknown: Threaten me all you want, I have done nothing wrong. Remember this, you abandoning creep: She is not innocent in this story. There's a reason she's the main character, and you're just as unknown as I am. I've already won. You just haven't realized it yet. Remember that the next time you think you're all that...

Unknown: Because you may have forgotten, but I never will.

What was going through this guy's head?! I may have forgotten? Scared little boy...? No wonder Mari was so paranoid being in this apartment. He could obviously see you through the same cameras you had been using to check on Mari. Becuase he could see that it was you, and no his initial target sending the messages...

You grumble to yourself before throwing yourself into the phone's settings menu. You had made a promise to Mari to limit this stalker's interactions with her, and after reading all of those creepy messages beforehand, you felt even more inclined to keep that promise. She looked so unnerved by the messages that had been sent. As you work through her settings, adding an extra code as fast as you possibly can, the old messages fly past you as you begin deleting it.

Unknown: Where are you, Mari?

Unknown: You ran away without saying goodbye.

Unknown: That was rude you know...

Unknown: You are worrying me, my dear. Do I need to come find you?

Unkown: If I do not hear from you soon, I will become too worried for my own good.

Unknown: Mari... You have been gone all night. Do not make me come retrieve you sooner than originally planned...

Unknown: Paradise isn't planned to begin just yet, but it will start as soon as I have you in my arms again. Even if that starts tonight... All the better for me.

These messages made you sick... Who did this guy think he was, sending such messages as these? And talking to Mari as though he knew her... If that were true, she would have told you by now. So that he could stop harassing her. Unless... "What's right in front of me..." you murmur softly. Mari gives you a strange look, and you realize you had spoken aloud when you hadn't intended to and quickly shake your head.

"Oh, it's nothing! Just muttering about the codes is all," you reply quickly. You hit enter on the keypad, and all the previous messages from Unknown are deleted, and a new firewall is installed. "Here you go. Your phone should be pretty invincible to any and all hackers now. Except for me of course," you add with a small wink. "I'm the best of the best. And it's my own code. But, of course, I could just text you like a normal person instead of some creep who won't even give you his name."

"Yeah... Thanks, Luciel," Mari sighs. "This whole situation sucks. First I get some creep stalking and threatening me, then I drag all of you guys into this and make you worry, and then Yoosung..." She huffs softly as she stares down at her phone. "Maybe if I just threw this damn thing away it would all be over! I could go home again, and not worry you and Jaehee... This mess would never have started to begin with..."

You simply shake your head, gently taking Mari's hands in yours, your large fingers wrapping around hers and blocking the reflection in the blackened screen. "Don't say that Mari... I wouldn't be so worried about you if I didn't care. None of us would!"

"But you wouldn't worry if you hadn't even met me!" she replies quickly, her eyes meeting yours as she attempts to free herself from your grasp.

"And what's so wrong with that?" you ask calmly.

Mari seems to blink for a moment, confused by your question. "But worrying is uncomfortable... I did nothing but worry growing up, and cause nothing but worry! I'm tired of it... My best friend made me worry so much I almost went crazy. And then I found out that all my worrying was worrying my other friend... And it was unfair to him. Having to lose two people he cared about because I wanted to be selfish and stop worrying..."

"What do you mean, Mari?" you pry. "How did your friend lose two people? I'm sure none of it was actually your fault anyway... You can't control who worries about you because you can't control who cares..."

"But I want to! I don't want to feel this way, worried about people I don't even know are alive or not! Worried about people who I barely even know! Worried over things I can't even control..." she whimpers, her resistance starting to falter. "I just want to know if he's okay... Even if he doesn't remember me anymore..."

You blink once, then twice, trying to comprehend what she was saying. He? Who was he? And why was she worried about him...? "Well, Mari... If you're that concerned, then this is an easy problem! I'm an amazing hacker, remember? I can search for anyone you want! Just give me a name and they'll be found. I promise. Nice and easy... You should have just come to me sooner if this was troubling you so much."

"I don't want to, though... Before, it was because I had simply thought this person to be some kid from my dreams. But I'm certain now he was real. My memories are too real for it to have been a dream...! But now... Heh," she chuckles ever so slightly, and you raise an eyebrow in confused curiosity. "Now you just remind me so much of him... That I wouldn't want the wonderful 707 getting jealous that I'm searching for someone like him..."

You blink, staring at her for a solid minute as you process what she was saying. "I... remind you of this person...?" is the first thing you ask, before gently shaking your head. No, that wasn't the important part. You flash a slight, teasing smile. "Well, you obviously know me well enough to know I'd get jealous! But, if you want to look for this person, I'd rather help than sit here and see you so sad. Your happiness will always win over my jealousy. You should know that at least as well~ Right?" You flash her another wide smile, and it only grows wider when you hear the soft giggle your response has managed to pull out.

"I mean," she starts nervously. "If you're sure you don't mind helping me. Even if it doesn't bring up anything useful, or do any good in any way... I just feel like after everything I could use a little bit of good news. Although, I know that probably sounds crazy..."

You shake your head, offering a kind smile. "No... I understand. Just a little good news is all you're looking for, right? I get it. I've wanted the same thing on more than one occasion, so if it will help you feel even a little better, then I'll help you find whoever you're looking for, and make sure they're okay. Finding people is one of my specialities after all," he offers, a slight wink joining his comment before a low chuckle escapes his lips.
