Aloe

It hurt.

After I woke up from a short nap, I felt a burning sensation on my arms, legs, face, and chest. Pretty much what was in the sun during my nap. I sat up (painfully) and opened my eyes. Definitely sunburned. I looked at Jasper who was next to me, with a pity look in his eyes.

"Don't look at me like that, you know I hate it."

He knew what look he was giving and looked down,"Sorry."

"Can one of you guys carry me? It'll hurt to walk."

Jake stood up and held an arm out. I grabed his hand, wincing at the pain. He picked me up bridal style, still wincing at the pain.

"Sorry, trying to be careful."

"It's fine," I said.

After we entered the house, Jasper pulling the wagon onto the back deck. Then he ran upstairs as Jake put me down on the table.

"Jasper knows what he is doing," Jake said

"I trust him," I said as Jake sat on the table next to me.

Jasper came down and held a bottle of green goo. It looked goopy and disgusting, I almost didn't want it on my body, if that's what they are doing.

"It's aloe, it cools it on contact, okay Sam?" he must have found worry on my face.

" 'Kay," I said

Jasper squeezed some of it in my hand, doing the same to himself and Jake. I started on my chest, it felt so good. Jake rubbed my arms as Jasper rubbed it on my legs.

"How did this happen, I put sunscreen on!"

"Maybe not enough," Jake said

I shrugged.

After applying lots of aloe, and letting it dry, we sat on the couch and called for pizza.

The room was huge, it had a glass wall towards the backyard, which was facing the beach. It was tall and beautiful! It had lots of space, so we could do anything we wanted.

We decided to sit on the floor and eat our pizza. Luna came over and rubbed against me. I pet her and she just walked away.

I went up stairs to change into pajamas and check my email. I had alot, most saying why, where, when, but one caught my eye

Sweetheart! Jaspers' family, Dad and I are worried sick! Please, come home! We love and miss you. I know you and Jasper need each other but we need you too! Just tell us if you have been kidnapped even though you told us you guys are fine. I love you so so much.

It hurt to read the message, and I couldn't reply to that. I miss them, but not as much. My mom has red hair, not colored. My father has black hair, not colored. My sister Aly has black hair like my father, but not me. I have brown hair. Dark, but still noticeably brown. My eyes are a hazel green while my parents eyes (and Aly's) are brown, really light brown.

Only then I realized I am so different from them. Aly is so much alike.

Am I their child?

Sorry I have not updated in a while, and to be honest, I didn't want to finish the chapter here. But I figured you guys wanted a chapter ;-). I wanted to put her question at the end there because I got kinda-sorta stuck.

NEW BOOK SOON, writing it now. I want it to be completely finished before I upload. BUT I might upload the Authors Note, but prob. not.
