It's always the same in books and movies. The girl who never had a shot with any guy suddenly gets one of the best romantic stories when she turns sixteen or seventeen. I always believed that would happen to me too. I always waited, always hoped, always told my twelve-year-old self there were only four more years to go. But then years passed and i've already passed the sixteen mark a long time ago. You stop believing great things like romance will happen to you once you've lived a loveless life for nineteen years.
