Watch it snow, and record (with a stopwatch) how long it takes for the snow to stop.
Okay, this one is time consuming, but I don't mean just standing in front of the window and watching it snow for 12 hours. You can just have your phone in your pocket while outdoors (or indoors) and have the stopwatch running. When it gets dark you can stop.
