Epilogue

[Breaking News!!]

A security camera has caught a room in one of Seoul's five-star apartment for a break-in, under extra-ordinary and unexplainable actions....

Woojin turns off the television, sighing. He knows exactly what happened, he read the reporter's mind earlier after all.

He was about to contact Daniel when hee could suddenly hear the barks of his dog coming from the kitchen. He furrows his eyebrows, his mind going elsewhere on how to investigate the problem he was receiving.

The only reason why his dog barks is when strangers come- or, when his friends come in. Technically, the dog barks at everything- that was unfamiliar, of course.

Woojin swears the pet barked at air once. And at that time, Woojin moved to another apartment cause he thought his old one was haunted.

Or his dog was insane.

Whichever comes first.

Woojin walks to the kitchen cautiously. The thought of how some stranger had the guts to steal his left-over meals for some rock that's shaped in a stray, sad cat in the streets makes him want to punch a man in the jaw.

Which means, that the person is doing something very stupid.

He know he's overreacting, and possibly over-thinking stuff and  Strawberry's probably yelping at his new plate he bought last week again.

When he finally gets to his kitchen, he meets eyes with Daniel, who was giving him puppy eyes for some odd reason.

What was more odd was why in the name of Woojin's love for his dog would Daniel appear in his kitchen?

And after what happened?

He would've kicked Daniel out then and there if he hadn't had realised that Daniel wasn't the bad guy here.

He unclenches his fist that he didn't realise he formed, and calmed himself down from the urge to kill a guy with the edge of a sharp sword.

Woojin shifts his eyes from Daniel to the small figure behind him. He sees a hungry-looking JinA, silently staring at him blankly.

"Can I.. eat that?" The way she says it was polite, but really, what they're about to witness if Woojin actually says yes- which, he never will- will be very unpleasant.

Woojin stares at the girl's eyes in disbelief, trying to scan any part of her face that showed some kind of sign to tell she was lying.

But there wasn't.

"NO!" Woojin disagrees, shaking his head furiously. When the girl's eyes glow golden once again, Woojin quickly grabs ahold of Strawberry, trying to shield him protectively.

The girl scoffs and dashes towards them, aiming for Strawberry. The poor dog seems alert as he leaps out of Woojin's arms and jumps around in fear.

"NO! STRAWB'RRY!" Woojin shouts. He chases the bulldog around his apartment.

"Woojin!" Daniel calls. "Why is your dog pink?!"

The tired boy chasing his dog seems frustrated. "Shut up! Ish! Why hasn't she eaten your cats yet?!"

Daniel's eyes widen. "ROONEY AND PETER!"

For a brief moment, Daniel disappears but comes back seconds after, holding two cat cages in each of his hands.

It wasn't even four minutes where he realises that something was off,
But when he did, his respiratory system seems to stop, causing him to hyperventilate intensely.

"Where's JinA?" Daniel asks as soon as he realises the girl isn't in the same room as he and Woojin is in, not anymore.

Daniel starts to panic. "How could you let her run away?!" He shouts. "You know damn well what she can do when untamed!"

Woojin seems to be out in a daze as he pats his dog slowly.

"Woojin! Do something!" He orders in kind of like a whine to the boy, who was hugging his pink dog as he shakes for his dear life- or of fear for his dog's life.

Woojin blinks a few times, before freezing the time. Everything stops except the people in the same room as he is, and of course, air too.

He pats his dog for a while, earning a glare from Daniel and a stern 'Hurry up!' before trying to track the girl down with his mind.

'Oh, Woojin.. You know I can't be stopped by your time freeze. I can unlock myself anytime from it..'

A familiar voice rang in the boys' mind.

"JinA.." Daniel silently mumbles mostly to himself.

There is a voice once again, but now only Daniel can hear it.

'And Daniel, I'm not LOCKED anymore.'
