I look at my old pictures with Naveen and sigh. I always thought we were going to be together. He was my first boyfriend ever. I open my drawers and see his sweatshirt he loaned me.
He was the only light I saw in my eyes and he always knew how to make me happy.
I open my old phone and go to my messages app.
I sigh. Was I really going to sit here and read his old messages? These messages were from a year ago. We dated for a year.
Hey
Hi
I miss you I haven't seen you in like 3 days Naveen.
Miss your chlorine smelling hair. You are beautiful and my one and only.
I love you <3
Love you more<3
We need to meet up
Definitely. I'm taking you on a date. Wait outside your house.
I laughed at these sweet messages. I also sighed. I know things couldn't be how they were like before after what he had done.
I hear a knock from my bedroom window. Huh? I never get knocks from there. I look out and see
Naveen.
What is HE doing here? Seeing him with his stupid goofy smile makes me miss him less.
"What the hell Naveen what are you doing?" I yell
"Oh nothing. I just miss your room. Plus you don't accept my date I have no other choice."
I laugh seeing him here.
"How did you get up here?" I ask
"Um I brought a ladder." he says "By the way I'm going to stay the night."
"No way I'm NEVER letting you do that Naveen. We're not dating anymore!" I scream
"I know you want me. I see a bunch of my pictures out on your dresser. Face it you miss me." he smiles
He takes his shirt off and grabs me and starts making out.
I almost forgot how good of a kisser he was. His lips remind me of everything that happened. All the great memories...after 10 seconds I pull back
"My mom is going to KILL me though!" I exclaim
"You won't have to worry about that. I told your mom I'm staying already."
Wow I wonder how he managed to convince my mom.
"I have an important question Naveen." I say
"What is it?" he asked "You want me back?"
"No way. But why did you come here and why did you change?" I ask
He sighs
"People change. That breakup majorly affected me." he sighs again "My father forced me to move here because he got a job change. He got a job raise to mayor. I still feel bad of what happened before. Can you please forgive me?" he pleads
"I don't think things will ever be the same and I will grow to have feelings for you but fine we can be friends." I say
"Yeah I think that's a great idea." he smiles that adorable smile.
"One thing. If you sleep here, you're sleeping on the ground." I say
He laughs "No problem Tia."
