Not You Again

Chapter 12

It's been a few days and me and Naveen have offically became just friends. We're not going to try out this relationship anymore, it's been way to chaotic and dramatic and I don't want to be heartbroken and betrayed again. Charlotte LaBouff is gholding a party tonight at her manor. Charlotte asked everyone to bring their swimsuit because she has an indoor pool. Her house is humungous and she's rich and spoiled. Even though I don't like her, that doesn't really mean I can't go to her parties right? Her father is extremely kind though and he's been sweet since the beginning Charlotte and I were friends.  All the sudden my phone vibrates.

Hey Tia, I'll pick you up from your house in 10 minutes k? 

No problem thanks so much Snow

After 10 minutes, Snow White picks me up for the party. Snow White actually has a drivers license so she drives us to the party.

When I get there, her butler Alan greets me. 

"Hello Tiana it's been a while since I saw you!" greeted Alan

"Yeah!" I say as I smile and enter the party. It has been ages since I came to this manor. A huge swimming pool, hottub and sauna are in this beautiful room. Almost everyone is in there. I spot Naveen in the exact swim trunks he wore when I met him. And I just realized I am wearing the exact same swimsuit I was wearing when I met him. I smile at the memory but soon I see Charlottle running towards him and making out. Oh well...

I go up to Naveen, 

"So what's up with you and Charlotte?" I ask

"Oh you haven't heard? We're officially dating." he told me

I stiffen up. Naveen? Charlotte?

"Oh okay." I say

"You seem sad. Do you miss me?" he asks and flashes his superior smile

"No but we're friends right?" I ask

"Of course Tiana!" he says goofily

I walk away. I find it weird how Naveen is dating Charlotte. I mean fooling around I expect but actually committing to her? Not really. I don't get how he'd sink so low for a girl like Charlotte. Not that I care about that stuck up b***h anyways.

That perfect blonde with riches and everything ugh I am so frustrated I don't even know why. Do I even like Naveen? No. I stare at his chocolate brown eyes and he smiles at me back. I can't be jealous. He's an idiot. 

"Come on Tia enjoy the party!" screams Snow

I laugh at her random hyperness so I get into the pool. 

Whee! I do a cannon ball inside. I recognize many people from school and I decide to enjoy myself. 

"This is so relaxing." I tell a girl from school Cassandra

"I know right." says Cassandra 

I do a few handstands and laps and relax and chill with my classmates when suddenly

"Yo partiers! You havin' a good time?" asks Charlotte

A crowd of yeses and applauses cheer.

"Well everyone, it's time for the real dancing. There are 4 changerooms 2 guys 2 girls go ahead and change so we can really party downstairs!" she yells

Everyone goes inside changerooms but some of the boys start running to the girls changerooms instead. Of course, guys and their pervertedness.

I go inside one of them to change into a cute dress. I rarely wear dresses because I have so many "waitress" clothing. 

Naveen also ends up in the girls changeroom. I change carefully and quickly making sure not to flash anything. 

"Wow you look gorgeous in a dress!" he says staring at me

I laugh, "Thanks but don't you have a girlfriend?" 

"I can't help myself. It's a habit complimenting you." he flirts

I blush. Ugh why do I always blush, it's a terrible habit.

"All ya ladies and gentlemen on the dance floor!" she calls and we all head out way to the basement. 

The floor is lierally glowing with rainbow colours and there's a huge disco ball. The speakers are loud and there's a huge buffet at the side. 

Someone comes up to me.

"Hey you wanna dance?" he asks

I'm pretty sure it's the popular jock Aladdin but I agree and dance. We boogie and it's fun but kind of awkward at the same time. Suddenly I hear a slow song come on. One of my favourites..All of Me by John Legend. I put my hand on his shoulder and we dance slowly. He's actually pretty good. When I close my eyes...I feel my heart getting into the song but the weird thing is that I am imagining Naveen instead of Aladdin. I try to ignore the feeling though. It's only because he used to be in heart but he's gone now.

"That was fun." he smiled

"Yeah thank you!" I say 

Tonight has been a great night. A very long night. I still don't get my heart and sometimes I wished love never existed. Ugh it's complicated.

Hello, as some of you don't know yet I am Aly the author of the book. This is the first author's note I have done. I hope you liked this chapter because it's the longest yet. I am thirteen, this is my main book but I also might add some parts to Disney: Divergent. As obvious as it might be, I love Disney.
