Chapter 22

Cameron's Pov

I went into my bedroom and sat at the edge of the bed. No. This can't be happening. I put my head in my hands and cried. What if she isn't okay? What if she is suffering? Kailani, please be okay....

Kailani's Pov

"here peasant," Cassie walked up to me with a slice of pizza, she untied the ropes and made me sit there with the plate, "you better stay he-"why do you hate me?" I cut her off. She looked at me like I killed someone. "Why do I hate you?" She asked yelling. I nodded and looked her in the eye. "You took Matthew away from me." I scrunched my eyebrows at her and looked down, "Sorry Sweetie, He isn't dating you because he doesn't like sluts." She stated. I laughed at her while looking at the floor and looked up to her, "Then why is he dating you... I mean your a slut aren't you?" I smirked at her face. She smacked me in the face on both cheeks, so meaning she smacked me twice. "Shut the fuck up, Bitch." She tied me back to my chair and shoved the pizza in my mouth. At least she let me eat.

I finished the pizza and Cassie walked back in. Where the fuck are her parents? Like Serioulsy. "Still hungry, fatass?" She asked cocking up an eyebrow. I rolled my eyes to her and spoke up,"If you have Matthew now... Why am I here?" I asked. "To make sure you stay away from him." She brought out her hand and smacked me right across the face. I tried to kick her but my feet were tied the chair too. "What the fuck!?" I yelled at her face. She smacked me again and looked at me for a sec, then next thing you know I see her fist coming towards my face, the only thing I remember is hearing,"Put your hands behind your back," and "Shes in here!Shes in here!" And then I blacked out.

I woke up with wires around my face and a needle in my arm. I turn to my left and see Matthew, "What the fuck are you doing here?" I asked, I wasn't yelling but I said it angry. "Well good evening to you too." I heard the door open and heard a familiar voice, "Is she awake?" I saw Matt nod his head and heard him leave the room. Then when I looked back up again I saw Cameron. I smiled ear to ear "Cameron?" I said. "Hey beautiful. You okay baby?" He examined me in the hospital bed and looked back into my eyes. "Yah.... I guess....Wh-wh-what happened?" I managed to say. "Well, obviously we found you..Cassie or what ever her name is, is in jail and is going for trial..and you have bruises on your facccceeee..." While he said face he poked my cheek and dragged the word 'face' "Oh." was all I managed to say. "Don't worry... You look amazing still." I gave a small smile and he kissed my forehead. Then I heard the door open and the shuffling of feet. "Omg!! Kai are you okay?" "Bae are you hurt?" "Omg I was worried sick so glad your here." I looked up and saw Melissa, Kaela, and Britt with tears running down their face. "I love you guys so much." I scanned their faces and started crying tears of joy. "Omg... Guys, I fucking love you all." They leaned in and we all did an awkward hug. Then the doctor came in, "sorry to interrupt but who is Kailani's guardian?" Cameron raised his hand. I gave him a confused look, but he gave me a look that said 'play on' I nodded my head and looked at the doctor. "May everyone please exit I want to have a word with Kailani and her guardian." Melissa gave me a small smile and they all left. "Soo..." the doctor said taking a seat on a black stool."Kailani will be able to be out in just a couple of hours being in the hospital for a whole 2 days and all." Two days? I've been in here for 2 whole days. Must have been a hard punch. The doctor continued, "Luckily she has no broken bones just a couple of bruises that should heal up in a couple of days or weeks." He nodded with a smile and left the room. "We're gonna be alright!" Cam said with a smile. "We're gonna be alright...." I repeated.

"You sure you're okay?" Carter asked for like the 3rd time. "Carter... im okay.." He had his arm around me leading me to the couch because I still felt a little dizzy from the medicine. "Okay." He nodded and set me on the couch and sat next to me, "You okay?" I gave him a blank face, "Carter I love you & all but get out." He chuckled and left the room. Then a few minutes later I heard the door open, "Matthew?"
