I mean he always says he does, but every since the kissing thing I just felt disbelief. I looked at myself one less time in the mirror and looked down. He doesn't love me. Who can love me? No one. I blow dried my hair and put it in a high ponytail. Maybe I should hang out with Kaela for awhile, its been awhile. I walked out of the bathroom and into my room. I made my way to the 'living room' and saw Carter on the couch playing with his phone.

"Carter."

"Oh hey! You okay?" he looked up from his phone and looked at me.

I hit myself in the face with my hand.he always asks if im okay.

"Yes Carter. Im fine," I said through my teeth.

He laughed,"So whats up?"

"Oh yah, where's Kaela. I miss her and want to hang out."

"Ooo girl time. Yah sees in the food court."

"Okay thanks." I made my way to the door.

"Oh yea an Matthew went with her."

I stopped in my tracks and let go of the door handle, "Ohhh... I'll just wait then."

I sat on the couch next to Carter and played with my phone.

"Kailani." He sighed.

"What?" I looked up from my phone and looked at him. He gave me a worried look,"What Carter."

"Give Matthew a chance."

I looked down to my feet. Every time I hear his name chills come down my spine. I miss him a lot. I don't know why I'm holding him back. It just feels like the right thing to do. "I can't Carter."

"Why not? Don't you love him?"

"I dunno."

"So.. You've told him you love him even when you don't.

I thought about it for awhile.

"I just need time Carter."

Then the door flung open revealing Kaela and Matthew. Kaela had two bags of Tacobell and Matthew had 2 trays of slushes. Carter got up from the couch and whispered something in his ear. Matthew nodded, then looked at me giving a small smile. I gave a light smile and they headed into their bedroom.

"Hey"

"Sup"

"You feeling okay?"

"Yah I guess....I dunno...."

She popped a chip in her mouth and threw me a burrito.

"Well, whats wrong?"

"I don't really know if I loveMatthew."

She paused eating her food and sat next to me on the couch.

"Listen Kai, you love Matthew. I can see it by the way you look at him. And, he loves you too. Don't deny it, go it with."

I hugged her and have her a smile, "thanks."

We stood up and grabbed slushes and ate at the table.

Matthew's Pov

"What dude?"

"Well Hello to you too."

I stared at him with a blank face, "Why did you bring me in here?"

"You need to win your trust back from Kailani!"

"What? She already trust me."

"Matthew....."

"She doesn't......?"

He shook his head lightly and looked down.

"Okay."

"Okay what?!"

"Okay as in I'm gonna win her back."
