Chickens make me happy and all that comes with it: Laughs, Babies, Playing, Having Fun, and so much more. When you read this book it will give you things that chickens give you!!!
Chickens have 2 of the best things on earth, Chicken(I don't eat my babies) and Eggs. Chickens are so fun and awesome to have. I like to go outside and sit with my chickens and sing to them and watch the sunset. Also one of my favorite things to do is gather the eggs. Then I like to go and cook some homemade chocolate chip cookies. But I don't do this unless they are my eating chickens, Cornish, anyways I sometimes or other people like to fatten their chickens up and eat them for a good thanksgiving meal or maybe fried chicken, but the point I'm trying to get is chickens are awesome and amazing. I know some people who say chickens are bad and awful but that's not true. I don't think they know how much chickens mean to people. People try to say chickens are dirty and nasty but really your nasty you like to slobber all over your self when you sleep and you eat spiders, so your nasty. People make me so mad when they do this!!!! Chickens are way more to me then a lot of things on this earth! But back to my point chickens have two different things that make life better. Chicken and Eggs. I really honestly don't know what I would do without my chickens. Life is so much better with Eggs and Chicken. Like without Eggs you couldn't have chocolate chip cookies, cake, pancakes, and so much more!

As you see in the picture above there are so many colors of eggs. If you have a lot of chickens and you want to start selling your eggs to people, having different egg colors really impress people. There are the dark dark brown almost maroon or maybe maroon eggs that come from Marrans. Then you have the lighter pretty brown eggs that come from orphingtons. Oh and then one of my farorites, Ameracaunas, but I was looking at Murray McMurray Hatchery's website and they have a new breed called Whiting True Blue Birds they lay a pure blue eggs!

This spring I am planning on buying probably 2 dozen chicks from them of the Whiting True Blue chickens. If you are interested in buying this breed you can get the males for 3.65 for 1-5 starting and you can get the females from 1-5 for 5.65! But order quick! Last year they sold like a jewel!
But now to eating chicken. To me the best chicken to eat is a home raised cornish hen!
