As my body woke up I could feel the warm sun caress my face. I felt a searing pain in my left arm as I tried to move. I had completely forgotten about the shrapnel that was in my arm at the site.

You might think:

"Lou, how can you forget a shrapnel wound? Idiot." That's just it. I am an idiot sometimes.

I could feel the tears stream out of my eyes as I went over everything that happened again.

I lost my family. I lost my friends. I lost my house. I lost scooter, Sara's dog. I lost everything.

This is the moment. I thought to my self, I will not let ANY thing hurt me anymore.

I could feel something heavy on my stomach that reminded me of scooter. Slowly I opened my eyes. There, laying on my tum was a little white fox with the prettiest big  brown eye and blue  have ever seen.

"Do you have a home buddy?"
