It felt like I had been walking for hours but I could hardly remember anything from the walk. The only reason I knew it had happened was the slightly lighter backpack from when we had stoped for a break the use the bathroom and eat something.

Beem would often wander away from me but would soon return with refer fur around their muzzle. I'm honestly surprised that they stayed with me this long without attacking me. We hardly ever saw foxes back in the kingdom. If you ever saw one it was probably just a skin in a shop or tug at a friend's house.

It was a law that if you saw one you would shoot it so it wouldn't eat the crops, though we never really has a problem with that in the beginning.

I crossed my arms over each other to try and preserve my body heat as well as I could; watching the sun slowly get lower and trying to ignore the pain in my feet and legs, hoping is was headed in the right direction.
