Jake was changing and I couldn't believe my eyes.

Brad looked very guilty and I decided that I would deal with him later.

"I need to take him home." I said as I concentrated on his room.

"Wait!" Brad yelled. "Bring me with you! If he goes rouge there will be no stopping him. You need protection."

I hated to admit it but Brad was right. I grabbed his hand and all three of us where on the floor of Jake's small room in a matter of seconds.

"Help me get him on the bed." I told Brad as I started to lift my mate off the floor.

My Wolf was still in his head making sure his Wolf stayed unconscious. As long as the wolf was out, so was Jake, but she was getting tired.

I gave her more energy but it took some out of me too, all too quickly I became exhasted. Jake's Wolf was putting up a real fight and it became increasingly harder to keep him down.

I slumped to the floor and began breathing heavily.

"Oh no not you too." Brad said touching my arm concerningly.

"No, no. My Wolf is just exhasted. He's a pain in the ass to keep down." I explained to Brad.

"I would imagine so," he started also sitting on the floor. "I beat the shit out of him. His Wolf was none too happy."

"What do you mean you beat him?" I asked accusingly.

"Calm down female. I had to teach him self control, so I did. The only way I knew how."

I was too tired to argue and I could feel myself falling asleep.

"No, no. You need to stay awake. I cannot deal with crazy guy here all by myself." he said pointing to my limp mate on the bed above me.

"I'm trying Brad. I really am." I could feel myself slipping but I fought it.

"Try a different approach." he started. "Try to keep him calm by being on his good side."

I took Brad's advice and put myself into the situation.

I went in Jake's head and looked for the wolves. What I found was a pale Jake who was in the corner of a dark room.

"Jake sweetheart!" I said running over to him to comfort his body.

"It's going to be okay just fight with me." he didn't respond. He just kept starring into the distance. I turned around to see what he was looking at and I became frightened.

There were our wolves. There was blood and missing hair on some spots. They looked like a huge mess.

I ran over to my Wolf and she looked at me with crazed eyes and then realized who I was. Imediatly she bowed and sat on her haunches panting.

"My girl," I started. "I'm so sorry."

I patted her muzzle and instantly her hair started to grow back, the blood went away and the wounds healed. She licked me once and left to go tend to Jake's body in the corner.

I looked at Jake's Wolf and he was just a mess on the floor. He had obviously taken a beating due to my Wolf's power and he looked drained of energy.

He was a tan, blond color that looked a lot like Jake's hair.

"You're gorgeous." I whispered to him. His ears perked up and he looked at me. Once he noticed who I was he got up and hobbled over to me, limping with all of his legs.

"Oh sweetheart." I coo'ed.

He laid down on my feet and looked up at me and whined. I got down on one knee and touched his muzzle but his injuries would not heal.
