"Hey it's snowing outside. You wanna have some fun?😼" Devan texted. It had been a week since he had come home. We had become best friends since the accident and my feelings for him were growing stronger. "You bet.😈"
I walked over to his house and immediately got ambushed by snowballs. "Holy Shit!" I screamed. Then Collins and Devan jumped out from behind the bushes in their front yard laughing their heads off. "Shut up!" I said playfully. I scooped up an armful of snow and chucked it their way. It landed dead center it their faces. I cracked up. "Who laughing now?" I laughed. The three of us laughed until we dropped to the ground and made snow angels.
We lay there and talked for an hour. Then Collins got up and said in the most ridiculous tone possible, "Homies imma get yal some hot coco now don't call me loco." Devan and I cracked up as he walked away leaving the two of us together. Alone. I started shivering. It was like. . . Below freezing! "Are you cold?" Devan asked. Oh great he must've heard my obnoxiously loud chattering teeth. I nodded and Devan rolled over and wrapped me in a hug. I stopped shivering and slowly fell asleep.
I woke up before Devan and was still in his arms. It was morning and we were still in the snow but covered by a blanket. I looked up and saw two steaming cups of hot coco with a note by it. I opened the note and read "Good morning Y/N. I didn't want to disturb you and Devan. Just saying, you two look so cute together ;D. Got you something warm. -Love Collins" I woke Devan up and gave him his hot coco. "Hey, I know that this is out of the blue but would you like to go on a date with me?" Devan said shyly.
