"She's your what?" I asked as he trailed off. "She's my ex." OMG. How could she not tell me? How could she not tell me that she was rven in a relationship. Not to mention who she was in a relationship with. I must have stared out into space because the next thing I knew Devan was waving his hand in front of my face. "You ok?" He asked. "Yeah I'm just shocked that she didn't tell me. She's been my best friend since 1st grade." My mind was blank. "You know what? Forget her. For now anyways. Let's go have some fun!" I said. "That's the spirit!" Devan said. We walked into Dickey's BBQ Pit and sat down. We talked and ate for about an hour.

"We should get going. They're about to close." Devan said. "That's probably a good idea." I snickered, looking at the waitress glaring at us. We got up to pay, "I got this." Devan said. "Thanks. I'll get the next one." I promised. We went to the car and drove to my house. "Again, thanks for dinner." I said. "It was no problem." He said while kissing my cheek. I said goodnight and walked into my house. I got on my phone and texted Dj.

"Hey, can I come over tommorow?🙂" I was going to talk to her about the ex thing. I figured that it would be better to talk about it face to face rather than over the phone. "Sure, why?🙄" She said. "Just to hang and talk." I replied. I turned off my phone and went to bed, waiting for the next day to come.

I woke to find the sun shining through the blinds, straight into my eyes. "Fuck you sun." I complained. I got ready for the day and got into my car. "Be there in 10.😄" I texted and drove to Dj's place.
