I looked at Devan. He looked at me. We both leaned in at the same time and closed our eyes. My brain started freaking out. I mean heck! It's my first kiss! We were centimeters apart when the neighbor's dog barked and scared the shit out of me. I fell the the ground with a thud. "Ow my ass. . ." I mumbled. Collins started laughing his head off. I glared at him and he immediately stopped. "Do you need help?" Devan said while offering a hand. "Thanks..." I mumbled. The mood was ruined and I was depressed. "Oh! I forgot! I have to go to work!" I said practically running out the door. "I'll see you guys later!" I shouted over my shoulder while running to my car. I hopped in and drove off.
"Ugh! It was so embarrassing! That damn dog ruined my first kiss!" I had gotten off of work and was talking to Dj on the phone. "Welp I know I'm your best friend and all but I have to go. . ." Dj said. "Fine bye." I said and hung up. I would have said the same thing. I wouldn't want to deal with her drama.
