The next few days were quiet.
Dawn talked with Katrina about Luna and her crush; there wasn't much that happened though. Luna stayed silent about her secret someone, who she thought was still secret, while the two girls waited for Luna to tell them about him. It seemed they had false hope because the so called secret still hadn't been spilled.
During those few days of silence between Dawn and Luna, the others were talking more. The more Dawn looked the more she saw it. All the soon to be couples that were happening directly in front of her.
Luke and Lena were talking a lot more often and with that, came bickering. Luke stayed at school during the lunch break, rather than walking home like he used to. He was also, always beside Lena. He was practically glued to her side. He never left her side and the more they hung out, the more you could see it. He wanted to be with her and that was evident by how he acted, but Lena was different around him.
Lena was more subtle around him, more shy. As they bickered she would act like she usually would, only her face was flushed far more than usual. When Luke wasn't glued to her side, Lena would look over her shoulder to glance at him, only looking away when she suspected someone looking at her, or wanting to talk.In those last few days they'd been flirting intensely. She had been over to Luke's house two of those days, which wasn't odd for the others who usually went there. Luke often had multiple guests over. The only reason it was weird was because Lena wasn't used to it; those were the first few times she'd ever gone over.
The other couple-to-be was also extra flirty in those last few days. Jace was, all too clearly, acting like a lost puppy who was simply in love with Jasmine, but he still managed to be his weird self. He managed to be sickeningly flirty with Jasmine, but also keep his grades up and maintain his other friendships at the same time. Unfortunately, Jasmine was the opposite.
If Jace expressed too much emotion to Jasmine, she would shut him out and forget about him. In a way, it was a display of her emotions towards him. Jasmine did have feelings for him, and everyone else knew it, yet she was completely, utterly in denial about it. Her excuse whenever someone asked her about "them" was something along the lines of "we're working it out" or "I don't have feelings for him". It was always the same type of response.
After five days, Luna had said something about her newfound crush. She had gone over to Dawn after talking with Katrina and the other girls. What Luna admitted next wasn't surprising considering the suspicion Dawn had been having prior, but it was surprising that she admitted it at all. "Fine, you win. I have a crush on Jonathan and we've been seeing each other now for this week."
There was finally an ending to that mystery, which put more than one person at ease.
Everything naturally went back to the same, old routine. The only difference was with certain boyfriends. Ash wasn't nearly as touchy with Katrina as he usually was. He wasn't touchy to begin with, but lately it had been even less. Katrina noticed, but brushed it off entirely- thinking it was only a stage in Ash's life that he'd be over soon enough.
+Lena+
Thursday rolled around quickly, meaning it was Simon's birthday. For the first time, Lena was actually invited to his party the following day. She had been preparing for the party as well.
Convincing her mom had been tough, since her mother thought Simon was her boyfriend, but it wasn't anything like that. She had her sights set on someone else, and was actually making progress with them! Who would have thought? Definitely not Lena.Simon was average.
He was taller than most of the girls, but was still considerably short compared to the boys. He had a bit of a squeakier voice, which could've still been cute in a way. He was one of the only people in the group who had blond hair, which was at a pretty long length for a guy, but wasn't long enough to make him look like a girl.
