Chapter 2 part 2

Nick's POV 

After my run in with that intern or whatever she is, i realized that she looked familiar. Maybe she worked for me? I go to the company's database and search by image until i find her. Liana Berry.(sorry sasha) Man she's beautiful. I need to know more about her. I click on her icon and read some of her articles and man are they good. And some of her poems as well. This one especially hit me 

I am darkness
But i am light
I am hopless
But oh so bright

Dear sir oh sir
Dont let me bleed 

A/n Please excuse the poor poem. I wrote that off the top of my head so its super crappy....Sorry

Then it hits me. She has talent and i mean TALENT! Plus a ton of potential to get better! 

I should just promote her to co-editor since i need someone there anyway. Its not like im going to be forcing anyone out of a job since the person that had that job quit a few days ago. Yeah thats what ill do.

*2 days later*

I go and look for liana's cubicle. When i find it , it looks so cute and adorabley decorated. I put all of her stuff in a box on her small desk. My phone rings before i can take her box to her new office so i answer the call and walk away. When i get back she is already standing their in utter amazement. I try to start to tell her that im promoting her when she says

" Mr. black i am so so so sorry that i spilled coffee on you but to be completely honest it was not entirely my fault and since you are going to fire me because of it it just confirms how much of a hard ass you are"

"umm.... Mr. Hard ass, huh?" I say with a light grin  " Liana, im not going to fire you"

"Wait im confused. My stuff is in a box which indicates that im being fired or....." then a look of realization covers her face " am i getting promoted??"

"Actually yes" i grin  " after our little.... run in shall we say, i recognized you and looked you up in the company database. Your writing is really good and i think that you've earned this." i say beaming and full of joy

"Thank you so much Mr. Blac-"

"You can call me Nick seeing as we are partners now. Kind of" i say shrugging

She blushes and says " partners....?"

"Oh yes i forgot to tell you. You are now co-editor to Fem magazine. So practically a partner, but not yet to co owner. Yet."

"Wow Mr. B--, Nick, Thank you so much!"

"No problem liana, but im just recognizing true talent. Now" i hold my hand out to the elevator " may i take you to your new office.?"

"Umm s..s..sure" she says, stuttering

And with that i walk towards the elevator holding liana's things. I walk with her to the beginning of a (hopefully) wonderful career.
