The what?, In the first part of the chapter i will explain what a quadratic equation is. With no further delay, I present "Quadratic Equations...What are they?" Quadratic equations are like linear equations, because they have an unknown variable that is needed to be factored, solved for or can even just need their like terms to be combined. There are many things needed to know about equations which include: how they are factored, solving using the quadratic formula, graphing and completing the square, each are different forms of solving quadratic equations but note that not every method works on every equation, so take that in consideration when you are trying to decide what method you should use. Do not make them seem more complicated then they really are. Calmly read the problem, analyze it and identify what you are actually being asked to do or find.
