Bucky almost flew up from the seat he was in. His small apartment was only a mere 5 minutes away from Steve's so if he got dressed quick, he could possibly be there in 10 minutes.
He unlocked his phone again and wrote Steve a quick message.

you better get the popcorn ready bc ill be there in like 10 minutes ☺️☺️

He threw his phone down onto the lounge and sprinted to his bedroom. He was beyond excited; half because he loved the High School Musical movies and half because he hadn't physically seen Steve for a while and he missed him a hell of a lot. Sure, texting constantly made him feel better but sitting next to Steve while making those sly innuendos and looking at his reaction would satisfy him more.

He searched frantically through his wardrobe, trying to find something that wasn't too hobo-like but wasn't too fancy. He eventually just settled for a black t-shirt and a brown jacket. He heard his phone vibrate on the bed beside him and he looked down at the look screen.

Stevie😈:
Oh, I thought it'd only take you 5 minutes to get here 😏

He chuckled and shook his head at Steve's comment but hurried to get into his clothes.

Bucky grabbed his phone from his bed and ran over to the kitchen, grabbing a few snacks from the cupboard that he thought would make good movie marathon snacks. In the space of about 30 seconds, he was out the door and almost sprinting towards Steve's apartment. People looked at Bucky strange as he ran past, but he could care less. A sudden idea popped into Bucky's head. He turned down an alleyway that was a few buildings over from Steve's and stopped as he got to the dead end. He started to climb up the walls, making his way to the roof of the short building. That was the only thing he liked about his HYDRA experience; the fact he had so much more agility and speed than before.

Once he got to the roof of the building next to Steve's, he looked from window to window, trying to find Steve in one of them. Without much of a hassle, he found Steve pacing behind his couch. The window was only a short jump from where he was. He swiftly jumped and landed on the small space outside the sliding glass doors; pretty much without a sound. He slid to the side and hid behind the wall that was directly next to the glass, just as Steve turned around to make another lap towards the door.

Bucky tapped rapidly at the door. He heard a small scream from Steve and had to put his hand in his mouth to stop himself from laughing. Steve slowly walked towards the door and looked out. He couldn't see anything outside that could've made the noise. He reached his hand towards the handle to pull the door open but before his hand touched the handle, a figure popped out from the side of the landing, screaming. Steve screamed even louder and fell backwards, over the edge of his couch and onto the soft cushions.

Bucky started to laugh loudly, almost crying because of Steve's reaction. Steve sat up quickly, glaring at Bucky. As he realised who scared him, his glare lightened into a smile. He stood up from the couch and unlocked the door for Bucky, now laughing himself. Bucky slid the door open and opened his arms for a hug from his best friend. Steve made a look of contemplation before engulfing the slightly smaller one in a bear hug. Steve smelt really nice to Bucky. He couldn't put his finger on what scent his soap was, but in reality, it didn't even matter. He breathed the scent in inaudibly and smiled into Steve's chest. He really had missed him. As they broke apart, Steve was the first to speak.

"Now that's what I call an entrance!" He laughed, making Bucky start to laugh harder than he did before. They stood at the door for the porch for a good 20 seconds both just laughing at each other for no apparent reason. Bucky stopped laughing slowly and looked around. The coffee table in front to the lounge had a wide array of snacks spread all over; little space for anything else on there. "So I'm guessing we don't need these then?" Bucky said, opening his backpack, revealing the small amount of snacks he had in comparison. Steve smiled at him and zipped the bag back up. "Don't worry Buck, we're all set. I might have went a bit overboard with the snacks though."
